Fantastic Four and Red Tornado & Elongated Man

 

Elongated Man and Red Tornado were two members of the JLA that were never granted their own solo ongoing series, but that only made me seek out comics in which they did appear even more.  I would have loved to have seen them on the forefront of a great team up battle like the one on this cover.

Doc Savage and Jonny Quest

 

This is another pairing that feels long overdue to me.  Two adventurers that regularly face off against pulp-inspired villains would be bound to cross paths at one point or another. It would certainly make for an exciting story, or episode of a cartoon.

Dial H For Hero and Power Man & Iron Fist

 

Yes, I know that Dial "H" For Heroes For Hire was another way to go with this team up.  I thought that might be a little too obvious though, so I decided to take the tale in a slightly different angle by having Robby summon forth the champion of Eternia.

Legion of Super-Heroes and Spider-Man

 

I'm surprised that I am only now getting to this team up. I could see Peter Parker wanting to hang around in the 30th Century, where there's a whole team of super-powered young adults that are accepted by society. He might have to change his name to Spider-Lad, but otherwise he'd probably fit right in.

Dial "H" For Hulk

I was getting interested in the potential casting of Alison Brie as She-Hulk in the upcoming Disney+ Series, but since the global pandemic has shifted all of Hollywood's schedules, we won't be seeing it hit screens until 2022 (along with Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight).  I'm guessing it will be a while before we hear any more news on the show in that case.  I had also read that Mark Ruffalo's Hulk would be appearing in the show.  I wonder if he will show up anywhere else in the MCU before then.

Insect Queen and Ant-Man

After the enormous cast and giant stakes of Avengers: Infinity War, I am looking forward to the smaller scale (in more ways than one) Ant-Man and The Wasp.  I especially am intrigued by the casting of Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, and hope we get to see more footage of the originals in action.  The Ghost looks very cool from the trailer, and promises to be an interesting adversary.  Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster mentions his time as Goliath, can we hope to see a flashback of him in full superhero form as well?

7 Soldiers of Victory and The Defenders

As big a fan of the Justice Society of America as I was, I always thought that the SSoV were equally cool but never got the same notice.  I liked that the team was filled with primarily street-level heroes, which made for different types of tales that could be told than with a group filled with heavy hitters like the JSA.  Also interesting was the fact that heroes and sidekicks alike were art of the roster.

Iron Man and The Original Robotman

One of the great things about Roy Thomas' All-Star Squadron was that he not only included the Justice Society characters, but also many other Golden Age heroes that I had only seen in a few back-up reprint stories.  I always wanted to see more of Johnny Quick and the original Robotman, and finally they were appearing in new adventures.
