Seven Swordsmen
Back in another life, when I went to acting school, I took a fencing class, and it was an absolute blast. There were a few offensive and defensive moves to learn, and once I had them down, it was easy to choreograph battles. We would practice in slow motion until we got it perfect and then switch to real time. Tons of fun!

Batman and The Walking Dead
I am looking forward to the next season of Walking Dead. The show has done a great job of building up Negan as an adversary and putting Rick and his crew up against impossible odds, so it will be cool to see how they turn things around, and how many sacrifices will have to made to do so. Last season admittedly took its time getting everything into position, so I am expecting more action this time around.

The Walking Dead and Superman
I am looking forward to the the return of The Walking Dead. Most of the first half of the season was about showing viewers how evil an in control Negan was, and Rick only got the will to fight back in the last episode. It will be good to see the core group go on the offensive again. I know at least one of them is going to get it because of a casting announcement I have read that will take the actor/actress to a new series.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer and The Walking Dead
I am looking forward to the new season of The Walking Dead hitting the airwaves in a few weeks. I have been watching the prequel series Fear the Walking Dead, And while it has a talented cast, I do not find it nearly as exciting as the main show. The idea of showing how the zombie outbreak began is an intriguing one, but by concentrating on such a small group of characters, the series lacks the kind of scale which that story really demands.

Mr. Monster and The Walking Dead
The Walking Dead is back and even though the gory stuff makes me watch half of it with my hands over my eyes, I have been enjoying the return of Rick and company. I like that they have added in a character who just may have a cure for the walking dead plague if he can get to the right facility - it gives the group a goal other than merely just trying to stay alive, and a good reason to keep moving instead of holing up in one place.

Marvel Zombies are The Walking Dead
I continue to enjoy AMC's The Walking Dead, even though I tend to watch half of the episodes with my hands covering my eyes - I'm not a big fan of the gore. Still, I love the tension that is built up over the course of the seasons and the core cast of characters give solid performances. I've read of plans to spin off the show, and I don't know how wise of an idea that is. They have good thing going now, and I wouldn't want to see it diluted.

The Thing and The Walking Dead
I had never read any of The Walking Dead, but I had heard great things about it. So, when the Walking Dead series came on the air, I figured I would give it a look, and I loved it. I thought it was very well done and was left really wanting more since only six episodes were aired. They have been making new ones and they will begin again in October, I think. It looks like the success of the Walking Dead TV series is influencing other programs as well. I watched a few episodes of Falling Skies, and it seemed very derivative - a ragtag group of people trying to survive in a world dominated by aliens instead of zombies. And now I see promos for Terra Nova, which appears to be about a ragtag group of people trying to survive in a world dominated by dinosaurs. I'm not sure if I will be following either of those series, but I definitely will be tuning into The Walking Dead when it returns!
