Infinity Inc. Vs. The Masters of Evil

Filming has completed on Avengers: Doomsday, and the movie is in the editing and special effects stage.  Word is that a first look teaser will be included in front of the next Avatar film, with lots of speculation as to what it will show.  My favorite guess is that the movie may undergo a last minute surprise name change - to Avengers Vs. X-Men!

Infinity Inc. and Captain America

Cap is used to working with the next generation of heroes, so it would only be a matter of time before he crossed paths with the Infinitors. He's met Solomon Grundy a couple of times on the blog - first a solo match up in STF #1430, and then an adventure with The Invaders in STF #3623...

Giant-Man and Nuklon

It will be interesting to see how Atom Smasher (Albert Rothstein's super hero identity after his time as Nuklon) will be depicted in live action when Black Adam hits the theaters.  Noah Centino will be playing the part, and it looks as though the hero will be another in the long line of de-gingered comic book character adaptations.  Hopefully, the costume will be comics accurate - although with a full face mask, I have my doubts about that, as Hollywood is generally not a fan of those either.  Still, a great performance will override any aesthetic details, so I will remain cautiously optimistic.

X-Men Vs. Infinity, Inc.

Infinity Inc. was a well designed team, I really liked all of their costumes.  Well, maybe except for Nuklon's headwear - Come on, buddy - you have have a mohawk or a headband, but not both.  Pick a lane.

Task Force T

I pity the fool who wouldn't want to read the adventures of this group!  Personally I would be sold by the inclusion of Chaselon alone. Like being a sentient diamond with robotic limbs and a Green Lantern ring wasn't enough, he's got a mohawk to put his cool factor over the top!  No more jibba jabba! Here's my sixty cents!

Galactus Vs. Infinity, Inc.

I remember being frustrated when Infinity Inc., first came out.  The new characters were introduced in the pages of All-Star Squadron, and I was looking forward to following their adventures in their own title, especially since Jerry Ordway would be handling the art duties.  Unfortunately for me, the series was in DC's "New Format" and was only sold at comics shops, not on the newsstand.  I didn't live near any such shops at the time, so it would be years before I was able to check out the series. It's too bad that the new characters created for it have all been wiped out with DC's "New 52" reboot.

The Thing and Infinity, Inc.

Jerry Ordway has always been the quintessential Earth-Two artist for me, so I was very interested when the Infinity Inc. series first appeared. I really loved the first year of that series and was sorry to see him go. Don Newton was slated for a long run, which would have been great to see, but he unfortunately passed away just as he was getting started. DC has always embraced the generational aspects of its characters and this was a perfect series to explore that. I remember wishing the stories would have included Robin, Huntress and Power Girl in larger roles, but the focus was more on the newcomers. These characters have been scattered around various titles for the past few decades, but I think there is still a fondness for them as a team. It would be interesting to see the surviving members reunite and sharing some adventures again... especially if they could lure Jerry Ordway back on art chores!
