Gladiator Vs. Predator

 

We've seen a bunch of Predator/Marvel crossovers now that both properties are under the same corporate umbrella, so maybe this battle will be created for real one of these days.  The Predator might have his hands full in this match up, but it would be fun to see play out.

X-Men and the 7 Soldiers of Victory

This story takes place shortly after the events of STF #1700, where the 7 Soldiers found themselves trapped in the wrong decade and educating at the Xavier institute. But which student will have to return with them? Make sure that you come back here tomorrow for the exciting conclusion!

Johnny Thunder Dreams of Jeannie!

I liked watching reruns of I Dream of Jeannue! when I was a kid.  The comedy was corny in a Gilligan's Island kind of way but the main character had super powers, something that always interested me.  Plus Barbara Eden was easy on the eyes!

Justice Society of America and Moon Knight

Continued from yesterday's cover, we see the sacrifice that was made as a result of the Dr. Fate/Moon Knight fight...

So far, what I have seen of DC Rebirth has been pretty impressive, a much better rebranding effort than The New 52 was.  Still, the "rebirth" I am waiting for is the return of the classic JSA characters.  It will be interesting to see what their new status quo will be and if they are woven in with the new Earth 2 heroes.  I'd love to see a new ongoing comic featuring the original team in their prime a la All-Star Squadron.

The Joker and Magneto

It was great seeing the original cast in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but I have to admit being more than a little disappointed at how little Mark Hamill was given to do.  Sure, Harrison Ford is the A-List star to most - but for me, Hamill's return was the real draw.  He has always seemed like "one of us", from his collector-friendly Amazing Stories episode, to writing and directing Comic Book: The Movie, to his decades-spanning performance as The Trickster and of course his perfect turns as the voice of The Joker and many other animated characters.  Given the events in the film, it's a sure bet he will be much more involved in the action for Episode VIII... but it's going to be a long 18 months waiting for it!
