This is the fourth meeting between these two heroes on the blog. The Falcon and Metamorpho had a showdown with the Secret Empire in STF #4943, they fought the Trojan Horde in STF #3054... and they first met in STF #2641...

Creature Commandos is coming back for a second animated season and I will be interested to see where the story goes. Will any more DCU characters be introduced? Will it connect to the upcoming Man of Tomorrow at all? The Beast was just back in the second season of X-Men '97, and will be back in live action soon, as Part of Avengers: Doomsday. Hopefully, he'll get some great moments and won't just be set dressing for the more popular heroes.
I'm not sure when Season Two of Creature Commandos is coming out, but it will be interesting to see where G.I. Robot's story will go next once it does. Will he make the leap to live action eventually? only time will tell.
Uh oh, Mr. Universe is back to menace the heroes of STF once again! This time though, he's facing one who has met him before - Firestorm battled him alongside Mar-Vell in STF #4735. Hopefully that experience and the help of Space Ghost will give him an edge this time around.
Following up from yesterday's Golden Age style cover, here I present a Bronze Age adventure between Cap and Ollie. It took some tinkering to remove Spider-Man from the original image - Here's a look at the behind the scenes progress:
This can serve as a direct sequel to when Deadman previously crossed paths with Man-Thing in STF #4613. The new Masters of the Universe movie looks pretty good to me, visually at least. The quick shots I have seen of Skeletor in the trailers looked cool - and I don't mind that they didn't keep his campy cartoon voice.
I can't imagine Dredd having much patience with that cosmic Peeping Tom. Just how would he enforce the law, though? This could make for an interesting match up.
This serves as a direct continuation of the events presented in the first meeting between these two, from STF #4637. Now that they've joined forces, the Foreground Gun Guys won't know what hit them!
I haven't read much of Bloodstone, but I know he would track down all kinds of creatures. I can see him setting his sights on a transformed Alec Holland.
It was only a matter of time before the deadliest underwater denizen of Earth-STF showed up again. Let's hope that our heroes are up to the task of turning that evil into a force for good!
Based on the costumes, I'd say that this adventure takes place prior to Doctor Strange's first encounter with the LSH on this blog, back in STF #3546. As for who the traitor might be in the scene above? I never fully trusted someone who claims to be a descendant of Brainiac...
Say what you want about the DCEU Aquaman movies, they had some great action sequences and Black Manta was visualized very well. James Wan definitely remembered what made the villain so cool to all of us kids reading of his exploits or watching Super Friends back in the day.
It's pretty cool that Metamorpho is now a much more recognized character to the general public, thanks to his inclusion in Superman. I hope we get to see him onscreen again soon, and I wonder which lesser known DC character might show up next. Bring on The Creeper, Space Cabbie and Skyrocket!
The Falcon and Metamorpho fought the Trojan Horde in STF #3054... and they first met in STF #2641...
I feel like these two would go well in a story together. They seem to run in the same circles. There's definitely a great film noir type story to be told.
This bad guy has been around for centuries, who's to say he wouldn't have vexed the JSA at some point? Definitely fodder for an oversized issue!
The Unknown Soldier was a great concept for a war comic. There are so many real life heroes from wartime that the general public will never know of. For me, this fictional soldier's anonymity seemed to pay tribute to all the sacrifices made by those whose deeds will never get the proper credit that they deserve.
These two heroes first met in STF #3404...
Uh oh, looks like Dick Grayson has run afoul of the Spirit of Things Yet to Come on this fateful Christmas Eve. Let's see what the living vampire has to say about that!
Morbius also encountered the Tim Drake Robin in STF #4420
I wonder which of these brothers would get along better with Man-Thing? Hank shows less outward fear than Don does, but he is also a lot more aggressive. Their interactions would be fun to watch play out.
