Lara Croft enters The Tomb of Dracula

 

Lara Croft does raid tombs, after all - so why not one of the most famous tombs in fiction?  She's also faced off against somewhat supernatural creatures before, but could anything prepare her for an encounter with Count Dracula?  I still haven't seen the latest Tomb Raider movie, but I find both of the Angelina Jolie entries to be guilty pleasures.  Is the reboot with Alicia Vikander worth checking out?

Superman and Ghost Rider

I understand that the upcoming Hulu Ghost Rider series will be featuring the newer Robbie Reyes version of the character.  I liked him on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., so I'll give it a watch.  Still, I hope that the show dives deep into the Ghost Rider mythos and we get to see appearances by Johnny Blaze and Dan Ketch as well.  Heck, let's even get the old time western version in there!

Man-Bat Enters the Tomb of Dracula

I was always creeped out by the concept of Dracula and Nosferatu when I was a kid.  The idea of an immortal creature that could transform into animals and prowled the night in search of victims to bite was suitably scary to me.  These days, when I think of vampires, my mind goes to too many movies featuring societies filled with overly primped effete bloodsuckers brooding and falling in love.  It seems that something has been lost with this new generation of the undead.

Batman enters The Tomb of Dracula

Here's a pairing that I am surprised has taken me this long to get to.  These two really do seem to be perfect adversaries for one another.  The Batman/vampire connection has of course been covered multiple times in comics and elsewhere, such as the Batman & Dracula: Red Rain graphic novel or the Batman Vs. Dracula animated feature.
