Even for a 1970's Marvel character, though, he seems to be unduly rushing to judgement. I have to surmise that he must've had a "Heap" of previous trouble with another plant-elemental.
I don't know if that's the root of his problem tho.And would a real weapon cause Alex to soil himself? I think knot!
For some reason now I wonder of Alex Holland is related to Tom Holland, the actor who plays Spider Man in the MCU.

As far as Ross is concerned there are only two holidays, Halloween and Christmas.

@Det. Tobor: the rifle doubtlessly shoots tranquilizer darts laced with weed-killer. And the machete's purpose is equally easy to guess (for those of us who grew up watching low-budget safari adventure movies on TV)!
