X-Men Vs. Infinity, Inc.
Infinity Inc. was a well designed team, I really liked all of their costumes. Well, maybe except for Nuklon's headwear - Come on, buddy - you have have a mohawk or a headband, but not both. Pick a lane.

O.M.A.C. and??
Already on the Blog as Task Force T
Pick a lane! Ha! :D
Brilliant!
Professional fashion designers call it "stunning contrast," Ross. And it doesn't look like the general concept is going out of fashion anytime soon.
The Infinity Inc series lost it's way after a couple if years but so much fun at the start.
Great cover, Ross
OK, so how many heroes have had headbands? Nuklon, Supergirl, Shang-Chi and ?
Somehow it seems incongruous to me to have Infinity, Inc. against the original 60s X-Men rather than the 70s "New" version that were their actual contemporaries. I suppose we can just say that this was early in the former group's run (which it appears to actually be) and shortly before the shift.
And I suppose once Professor X arrives and produces the title deed, he'd make arrangements for Infinity, Inc. to get a suitable headquarters of their own. He's that kind of stand-up guy... even if he does have trouble actually, y'know, standing up.
Coming soon: Buzz Lightyear recruits himself... "To Infinity, Inc. and Beyond!"
@Tobor: Moondragon, I think. And maybe LaToya Jackson.
@Bob: maybe this is where the pre-Flashpoint I.I. disappeared to, post-Flashpoint; the early 1960's of Earth-STF.
When Kang and The Time Trapper battle you have to expect a few timeline ripples.
Interesting choice of Infinity, Inc. members. I do not remember that combination of Infinity, Inc. on cover or splash page and if you excuse the term "assembled".
I am surprised about Obsidian's comment believing on squatters' rights since none of those team members at that time owned Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters.

I personally think the Infinity Inc team make a great filler group for that period between the Golden Age and whenever the modern age of heroes is supposed to have started in current continuity. Generally it's between 10 and 15 years ago, so that leaves the 50s through the 90s in need of heroes, if you allow for the sliding scale timelines so many fictional characters, especially Mainstream Marvel and DC, rely on.
Wasn't the Martian Manhunter supposed to have been part of an interim super-group during the 1960's of the post-COIE "New" Earth?
@Anonymous: yeah! He was a member of the Justice Experience as "The Bronze Wraith." They were invented for a post-Crisis comic book about DEO Agent Cameron Chase.
*No relation (as far as I know) to everybody's favorite Wildstorm Danger Girl, Abby.
Next issue show: Wildcat with feathers in her mouth,Nuklon wearing Scott's Visor, and fury holding up Jean's Decapitated head Arnold Schwarzenegger style. IDK if Obsidian & Jade would kill though?
Nuklon with mohawk, headband and visor? Not want to see that art!
And it should have been Northwind vs Angel.
"Nuklon with mohawk, headband, and visor..."
Sounds more like the Mimic on steroids.
You miss my point entirely. The X-Men become Extinct, Extinguished, Expired, "...Joined the Choir 'Invisibulle'..." -John Cleese.
