I'm looking forward to the new season of Stargirl. Word is that Jon Wesley Shipp will be reprising his role as Jay Garrick, so we can expect more JSA action. Jakeem Thunder will be joining the ranks of the young JSA'ers, and it will be interesting to see how Thunderbolt will be depicted. We may even get a Green Lantern at some point in the season as I have read about some casting for Jade.. Should be fun!

Now, why would these two be in Japan of the past? Did one of Wolverine's old enemies get their "Hands" on some boom tube technology from Apokolips? Perhaps while competing with the Japanese branch of Intergang?*
*The latter do employ ninja-like "wall crawlers," you know.
This is the first I've heard of casting for Jade, and I'm very interested in that; after Barry Allen, she's my favorite DC character. I'm especially interested to see if they make her green-skinned, and how they handle it if they do.
Confess to being skeptical when I saw today's combo. I was wrong. Super fun cover, Ross
@Cary: Maybe they didn't go to Japan's past; maybe Japan's past came to them!
@Bob, look at tv's Starfire for a guess on Jade.
Stargirl & Kitty next? Beginnings of an undercover Charlie's assignment?
Oh, say... speaking of Jay Garrick, it's been a while since we've seen him here. I tend to think of him as "the Elder Statesman of Speed," so maybe he could come by to give some speed pointers to Quicksilver, Speed, or Slingshot.
#BG: discourtesy of a new Council of Mykros, perhaps?
Wouldn't mind Logan meeting Mighty Mouse. Could Logan be humbled to find his blades do a great job as a back scratcher?
Mighty Mouse be the best at what _he_ do...and he dood it!*
*Paraphrasing one of his actual Terrytoon episode titles.
Call their first meet - The Best?
@Cecile: It could be worse. Ross could've posted a cover sim of Hank McCoy and Ambush Bug...with the latter quipping: "Are you really The Beast at what you do?"
Would that make Diana Prince and Hank McCoy Beauty and the Beast? (Unless you want to use Looker.)
Now I know why this looks so familiar. Sub Darkclaw for Wolvie and Robin for Stargirl. Right out of their series. Not access, but overlap.
As in, Robin Kelly from Miller's DARK KNIGHT RETURNS?
That the bird.
