One of the things that bothered me about Swamp Thing's abrupt cancellation is that we will not get to see where Blue Devil's story goes. I liked Ian Ziering's performance as Dan Cassidy, and his origin story was done well - but when we left him he was still very much a monster when he transformed into the Blue Devil. I'd have like to have seen him come to grips with his curse in a second season, and becoming more like the well adjusted hero from the comics. Who knows when Blue Devil will get another chance at live action? Maybe the upcoming Justice League Dark show for HBO Max?

What would Cletus Spuckler say to that?
Clearly BD is a Simpsons fan.

Well, probably The Shadow for one. And, maybe those psychic cheerleaders at Dan's old alma mater...Duke University.
*Smilingly pauses to see how many get it.*
Excellent action shot, Ross! :-)
Was this originally one of those impetuous misunderstanding slugfests between Spidey and Daredevil?
Maybe Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti will decide to fold Blue Devil in with Stargirl's Earth-2, to help Dan bring his darker persona to the light side.
Our Anonymous friend mentioned The Shadow, and it's been a while (November 2019) since we've seen him here. Teaming him up with Blue Devil would seem like a fun thing... though I'm still eager to see him alongside She-Ra. Revisiting his relationship with the Phantom Stranger would be interesting as well. Or he could team up with a hero that he inspired, both directly and indirectly: Darkwing Duck!
Well, now I want to see Blue Devil meet his family, Banshee from X-Men and Proinsias Cassidy from Preacher :D
And, perhaps, his Old West ancestors, too! You know; Butch and Hopalong?
@Big Mike: didn't Banshee later become an unsuccessful producer of television series (like that Irish spoof of XENA:WP)?
Uhm! Wrong Sean Cassidy. :-(
