James Gunn seems to like Tweeting images that hint at his DC plans and one that really got fans talking was of Mr. Terrific. Hopefully this means we'll be seeing Michael Holt on the big screen. Hopefully with his team The Terrifics, that way we'll get Phantom Girl, Metamorpho and Plastic Man as well.

@Ross: one can only hope! Their comic book series was disappointingly short-lived. My favorite story arc was the one where Michael managed to strike up an acquaintance with his late wife's widowed counterpart from a parallel Earth!* Such a Silver age-worthy happy ending is so rare, in modern comics, as to be virtually non-existent. And more's the pity for that!
@those few who may not know: E-Man is still owned by artist (and surviving co-creator) Joe Staton. Ergo; he is not one of DC's Charlton-bought characters and, thus, Ross is not breaking his own counter-balancing rule.

E-Man was one of my nicknames when I was younger.
I can imagine a Terrifics film hitting the major notes of one of the earlier Fantastic Four movies, and Rex commenting, "Something seems awfully familiar about this."
How about The Terrifics vs. the Incredibles?
Great to see E-Man here. This character has become very low-profile over the past several years. It would be great if he became a permanent fixture of DC comics some day. They have purchased many other characters in the past, so why not this one?
@Bob I dunno, I feel like Plas would be more likely to have that kind of "fourth wall" moment.
@Ben: I was debating between Rex and Plas. I went with Rex, because (IMO) Plas would be more likely to actually blurt out the actual connection.
it took a few years but i tracked down every appearance of the wonderful E-Man and his side kick Mike Mauser, and high boot wearing Nova ( much better looking than the marvel character of that name ). delighted to see him on a cover once more, a real old school fan favourite…
@Bob Greenwade: that sounds more typical of Deadpool, Trans-Millenial Shulkie, or Ambush Bug.
@Cary: Those three would take things a step further, and take the writer to task for copying the plot (especially She-Hulk).
