Fantastic Four and Green Lantern in: "Judgment From Korugar!"

Time for another all-John Byrne cover.  Let's hope the upcoming MCU versions look at least half as cool as when Byrne illustrated them.

GL and The FF have met on the blog before  - the last time GL was under an evil control... before that, it was the FF that were possessed... but at least they were working together during their first meeting.

have to say, Reed never looked better in his long Johns. When you have that talent you are admired.Shame he couldn't stay around a little longer.

First, Super Skrull attacks the Amazons of Paradise Island. Now, Sinestro risks the wrath of GL Hal Jordan taking on the FF. Is this some kind of trade-off like the Acts of Vengeance? Or is the Legion of Doom finally led by its Latverian namesake?

The FF in the Sin Bin! How is Hal-GL going to get them out? Simples! Power our 4some up with their own color-coded Emotional Spectrum rings? (Yes, I'm thinking about a sequel, Ross!)
But who gets what colour?
An ANGRY Ben Grimm would surely go for RED.
Torches burn YELLOW, so Johnny gets FEAR.
HOPEfully, Mr Fantastic could be BLUE (which would at least match his uniform).
And LOVEly Sue might look good in VIOLET, so she gets the Star Sapphire outfit.

Hmm. We still have a few colors left - maybe you could find some other Marvelites to match them with...

(BTW, off-topic, have you ever matched Hal-GL with Hal from 2001, Ross?)

I'm more interested to find out who's cast as the F4. Adam Driver has been officially announced as Reed Richards; at 39, he's about 10 years older than I would've gone for. Who'd be good, then, for Sue, Johnny, and Ben?

Hm... For Ben, how about Jason Momoa?

@Dave: I think I'd turn to some of the FF's temporary members. Just off the top of my head, Scott Lang could represent Avarice, for Orange; while Compassionate T'Challa could be Indigo. (Others will probably have better ideas.)

Interesting thought: Who would any of you think to be the closest thing to DC counterparts to the FF, especially for purposes of pairing on Ross' covers?

BTW: Ross, great cover and story idea. GL and the FF were always among my personal faves.

@Mickey: DC kind of already did that, with the Terrifics: Mr. Terrific, Metamorpho, Plastic Man, and Phantom Girl.

Sinestro's outfit looks like he belongs in Fantastic Four. How will Hal Jordan react when he joins F4 or is part of it as a substitute?

Bob, I didn’t even think about that, but you are right. They would be a good match on these covers with the FF, in my opinion.

How about a battle of namesakes?

Like Enchantress (Amora of Asgard) vs. Enchantress (June Moone).

Or Witchfire (Ananym of Limbo) vs. Witchfire (Rebecca Carstairs).

@Anon@9:27: I think Ross has already had the two Enchantresses appear together.

But I've been watching the Fairy Tale anime, and just got the a villain named Brain, who leads a group called the OraciĆ³n Seis. It got me wondering what it might be like to put him together with the leader of DC's Brotherhood of Evil, and a certain genetically-altered lab mouse.

(Of course, they could be opposed by the Thunderbirds' tech genius and Inspector Gadget's dog!)

@Bob Greenwade: I admit it. You're suggestion sounds better than mine!

P.S.---it now appears Sinestro sent Ben to the Planet of the Apes. So, I wonder where the other three went?

Obviously, Reed was sent into the alternate future controlled by Skynet (@ STF #3925); Johnny's wound up in one of Paste-Pot Pete's traps (@ STF #4013); and Sue has her hands full keeping a Wonder Woman, mind-controlled by the Demons Three, at bay @ STF #3693.

I wonder if this is a follow-up to STF #4040?

I like what was said above about the FF getting different power rings, I could also see them all getting a Blue ring, and with Green Lantern by their side, their powers would be amplified. Just hope Dr Doom does not get a Yellow ring.

Maybe Hulk could join in, with a red ring, or Spiderman get a blue ring too, Daredevil could get Indigo or Violet, She Hulk could get Green or Blue.
