Jack Kirby's time on the X-Men was before Hank got all blue and furry, so It was always a treat to see him illustrate the eloquent mutant in that form. Kirby excelled at inhuman-looking characters after all, which is why Etrigan is one of my favorite DC characters that he worked on.

It looks more like Hank is attacking Klarion for copying his hairstyle.
I mean, just look at the tops of their heads!
Very interesting pairing. I'd read it.
The King certainly did have a way with shading that nobody's really been able to duplicate.
This is a fantastic scene and it has a natural feel. It would have been a great team up.
Especially if Klarion had done something exceptionally stupid...like endanger Hank's friend Vera Cantor by abducting her.
I'd enjoy this! Especially since this back when Beast was fun and heroic, not the darker version he's become in the current universe...
As they called him in Young Justice, "Klarion...(dun dun dun)... The Witch Boy!"
I'd love to see Klarion and Teekl battle Agatha Harkness and Ebony someday...
I vaguely remember a Jack Kirby short story, from one of Marvel's sf/horror anthologies, back in the 1950's. It featured a proto-Klarion look-alike who took on three auror-type bounty hunters just so he could stay in the Outside World. One wonders if they were all from New Salem (Agatha's home town).
