Firestorm and Beta Ray Bill

I've been waiting for Beta Ray Bill to show up in the MCU for a decade, but other than an Easter egg statue, he has yet to be seen.  With the underperformance of Thor: Love and Thunder and Chris Hemsworth's desire to slow down his acting career, who knows when or if we will get another installment?  Hopefully even if Thor himself is out of the picture for a while, BRB can still find a place to appear in the MCU.

If Marvel wants to develop more replacements, then BetaRay could come in fully developed and just explain himself to another Avenger for his backstory.
Firestorm has been changed a few times, so would it make a difference which combo he is made from?

Ah, yes! The Gigeresque Zuggernaut. I'd forgotten about him!

My compliments on your background research, Ross. :-)

You know something? That teaser involving Hercules at the end of "...Love & Blunder" could be used to introduce Beta Ray Bill in the next Thor sequel. Like, say, his spacecraft collides with Herc's Pegasus-drawn chariot, causing them both to crash-land near the upstate New York town of Ithaca.

All those derivative characters are what has ruined comics. They make the main hero seem less special. On the Arrow tv show there were like half a dozen archers just as good as Oliver Queen. The Spider-Man comics are littered with knockoffs. They are even too lazy to come up with different codenames instead having multiple people answering to Spider-Man, Flash, Robin, Captain America, etc. Very lazy.

Two of my favorite characters together on one cover! Love it!

#My Namesake @9:58---just so long as Marvel doesn't officially adopt some insulting group name like "The Capt. Americorps."

Hey, did someone find a Xenomorph Alien, and cyberneticize it? Who would do such a thing -- the High Evolutionary? (Boy, he must've been high....)

As for the future of Thor, apparently neither Chris Hemsworth nor Taika Watiti were aware that "Thor Will Return" had been added to the end of Thor: Love and Thunder. Chris is ready to (in his words) "close the book" on Thor, so a fifth Thor film would probably either involve the character's death, with Hercules, Beta Ray Bill, and Love all taking part in dealing justice afterward, or (more likely, and preferable, both IMO) end with Thor reclaiming the throne of Asgard, with the Valkyrie's blessing.

As for Firestorm, I thought he was handled OK in the Arrowverse, except that I would've preferred the brighter costume over the darkened tones, and Professor Stein as an astral head (an astral full-figure would've been an acceptable substitute) rather than a disembodied voice.

And yet, thinking of one of my favorite Firestorm moments -- Stein growing an astral body and beating the snot out of Hector Hammond's astral form -- I wonder about pairing Firestorm with Professor X. (Despite a few meetings between Firestorm and one or more X-Men, the Prof hasn't shared a cover with him!) I can imagine Xavier being able to converse with Stein normally, and Ronnie being rather nonplussed about it....

I would be all in on a live action Beta Ray Bill!

Ah, that answers that question. How long does someone go before they get desperate and bring up Zuggernaut. 4,102 times. That’s how long.

LOL!! Just teasing. As a fellow Firestorm fan, I was hoping you wouldn’t mind some Zuggernaut teasing. :)

As always, keep up the great work!!

OK, so... when do we get to see Zuggernaut vs. Juggernaut?

Circa STF #8204?

That is; if I've done Shag's math right. ;-)

You realize, of course, I was just kidding. ---Cary

Y'know... the High Evolutionary may be a part of Zuggernaut's origin story, in the STFU.

You mean, sort of like a hyper-evolved Brood hatchling?

Maybe Jane Foster could meet Lion-O sometime - Then you would have - Love and Thundercats?

Please, no; Ross forbid!
