The Thing and Power Girl in: "M.O.D.O.K. and Awe!"

Of all of the failures of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the depiction of M.O.D.O.K. was the biggest offence for me.  His appearance, his identity, his origin and personality were so far off from the comics character that I wondered why they even bothered to include him.  I refuse to believe that his look was the best that Marvel could have come up with - I understand he has a somewhat goofy look, but there had to be a better way to realize the character on screen.

Ben Grimm and Karen Starr first appeared together back in a MTIO cover from 2011...

After his animated recent series, little M is a great bridge for marvel fans to be crossed at. Always make fun of the guys with the bad hair do's. M.O.D.O.K. had a chance to star in a kid's show, now hes a regular Dead Pool!
Everybody seems to be getting a new make over....well, DC is under the GUNN. Still, everybody wants to be a STARR, no matter how Grimm things get. This is a pair that deserves to be together for some time.

Whoever "headed" up the CGI animation for "...Quantumania" might have been inspired by the same Red Skull image that you used for STF #3273.

Will Power Girl ever meet her counterpart's sister, Carol Danvers?

ok i’m not sure what Ben Grimm brings to this team up as Karen Starr is technically stronger and has other abilities,
though they both are financial wizards ( from issue 9 of f.f. ( f.f. goes bust ) Ben has controlled there income due to Reed losing all the money in a investment failure )

Interesting combo today. You don't see much of Ordway/Machlan Power Girl like this since everyone draws her with her boob window.

For me, MODOK was the only real failure for that movie (though the mid-credits scene came close). I recently re-watched it twice on Disney+, and the CGI looks much better (whether it's the smaller screen or more time to complete it, I don't know), but every other aspect of the character was a general failure for me. I do hope that a more true-to-comics take on the character is somewhere in Phase Six.

As an aside, my favorite bit in the movie was the minute or so just before, "Sorry I'm late. Lotta ants."

Maybe M.O.D.O.K. & his branch of AIM were attacking the FF's headquarters, to steal some of Reed's inventions, and Power Girl just happened to notice this conflict while flying nearby?

@Simreeve: works for me. Anyone else? Bueller?

Ben Grimm has a down-to-earth attitude and perspective that could add to any team-up, even the LSH.

Oooh! This should prove an inspiring challenge for Ross.

Ben Grimm and the LSH vs. the Daleks!!!

Bob, my boy? You are a genius. :-)
