Silver Surfer and OMAC

The Silver Surfer has had a rocky relationship with the Death Star on this blog.  He first encountered it during his brief marriage to Starfire in STF #397, and then he later returned to investigate it with Doctor Who in STF #3761.  If his choice of partner here is any indication, this time he may just shut the place down for good!

Norrin Radd: "Remember the plan..."

OMAC: "You maneuver down the trench to the two meter-wide hole in the ground. While I rescue the Doctor and that Japanese Bizarro Ultraman.
Got it!"

NR: "And may The Force be with us."

This sheer speculation brought to you by Honest Johnson's Emporium. The department store with everything! If we don't have it, you don't need it. Honest!

This is an unexpected but somehow quite logical pairing, and a nice use of Kirby art. I like it.

@Anon@7:19: "Japanese Bizarro Ultraman"? Are you referring to the pilot chauffeuring the Doctor in #3761?

Where's Carycomic when you look for him? He did a Quantum Leap?? wouldn't be a bit surprised. Did he take The Early Edition with him?? Probably.

I couls see OMAC's vehicle being part of Kenner's Super Powers vehicles. Contact McFarland, he's redoing them now.

this was a fun place. just remember to bring your trays to the upright position.

OMAC's pod reminds me of Garthan Saal's mini-ship from the Nova Corps in the first GOTG movie. Hope he doesn't end up like him.

I'm here, Tobor. My laptop keeps acting up. Some b.s. about having "tried too many times to log in; try again later." ---Carycomic

As for time travel? I'm just a journeyman voyager. ;-)

Dear Ross: I have what I hope will be an interesting challenge for you. A movie-ad simulation using photo-captures of Neil Hamilton (as Commissioner Gordon '66) and John Hamilton (1950's Perry White opposite George Reeves as Clark Kent) as the World's Most Villainous Duo.

@Anon@2:03: Now you have me wanting to see May Parker, Petunia Grimm, and Harriet Cooper become Auntie-Heroes.

More like Agents of A.U.N.T.I.E. (from Archie Comics' MIGHTY CRUSADERS: TOS).
