Challenging the unknown sounds like a good description for the adventures that Indiana Jones gets into, so he would probably fit right in with these adventurers. Of course, the real unknown is whether he can provide audiences with a thrilling adventure as he enters his 80's. I guess we will all find out soon enough!
Indiana Jones on this cover is from an image by the very talented Jackson Guice. I was lucky enough to pick up an original page of his several years back:

For a guy who doesn't like doing crowds, you're doing more and more of them. I can't believe all those animals are from one page or cover in your archives. They look great. But the big surprise is seeing the Challengers without devices or weapons in a setting like this one. Well done.
Mr. Guice does a good job with action poses, no doubt about that. The Forgotten Heroes have never looked more formidably determined! That's a weird rock formation Indy is standing atop of, though. I initially thought it was one of those Atlantean gigantoids with an orca-like dorsal fin (lol)!
"Mine alone to claim"? That sounds very unlike Indy; his usual line is, "It belongs in a museum." It seems that Indy is being affected by some outside force to turn against the Challengers; most likely it's some effect of the artifact in question. But what artifact could that be? The Mask of Loki? The Medusa Mask? The Mind Stone? The Codpiece of Vecna?
Say, speaking of the Mask of Loki, what if it were to fall into the hands (and onto the face) of The Joker?
Already done back in the real world (as "Joker vs. The Mask") circa May 2000.
@Anon@10:53: Aw, phooey. Well, there's always Ambush Bug.
These guys should be teamed up with the Black Panther, next. If only to see if you could resist using the title...
"T'Challengers of the Unknown!"
@Anon432: *GROAN!!!!!!!!!*
@Carycomic: Bob Greenwade says you should see the 9th Doctor about that groaning problem.
