I... Vampire and Storm

I remember really enjoying the Annual where the X-Men went up against Dracula.  It was just so different from the usual mutant based tales that we normally got.  It was another reminder of the versatility of the characters - they could fit into any genre from standard superhero fare to science fiction to a straight up horror story.

Fabulous! This would be the perfect way to introduce Buffy to her Cousin Scott! I can just see it now.

"Buffy And I...Vampire in: RED MOON OVER SUNNYDALE!"

"Guest-starring the X-men."

I remember the issue of X-Men that had Kitty Pryde home alone in the mansion on Christmas and battling an alien (maybe a brood?) It read like an homage to Alien, same horror vibe.

A combination of "I... Vampire!" and Werewolf By Night seems like a good combo for Halloween.

As for characters fitting in different genres, that's pretty much the nature of superhero tales, at least in the big shared universes. There's a mixture of fantasy, science fiction, horror, pulp action, and all sorts of other stuff everywhere you look, and it all fits together. You could drop Warlord on Tattooine and make it work with minimal effort. Or Batman. (Heck, you've already done close to that with the Punisher.)

? Where has Batman been placed that didn't work? Funny book?
Should we expect a chapter called 'Any Vampire in a Storm'?
I love the dramatics of the scene, Ross.

I'm just glad no one decided to add...Do you want fries with that?

the strange idea that he was the Good Guy made his tale A one worth following…
