Cheetah Vs. Black Cat

Here's another match up that's been long overdue on this blog.  It's also another opportunity to present another behind the scenes peek at the process.  In this case, there was a little background rebuilding to be done before Barbara Minerva could be added in:

This is a G R E A T cover!! It has an outclassed Black Cat being treated by Cheetah as she really would, by treating her like a target. Nothing petty here, life and death stakes. That's the way it really would be.

Nice blending, Ross, as always! :-)

Except the Cheetah you've depicted here resembles Debra Domain (Kobra-brainwashed niece of the Golden Age Cheetah) rather than Barbara Ann Minerva. :-(

For elaboration of what I mean, please see STF #2955 from May of nearly three years ago.

Don't worry, guys. Her Uncle Ralph (aka MLJaguar) will come to her rescue.

Great cover! Like Tobor said, given these two characters' personalities this is just about who things would go down. We're left to wonder, though, what "mission" would have these two teaming up.

Maybe the theft of Lion-O's Sword of Omens?

You know, if this was an indie comic affiliated with White Wolf Games, Barbara Ann Minerva would be of the Swara tribe, and Felicia Hardy would probably be Kinfolk of either the Bubasti or Ceilican tribes.

Debra's legs must have real superhuman strength to leap that incredible distance to get anywhere near BC.

It's still a great team-up idea & cover.

This blog still needs more villainess appearances. Maybe you could work Villainy Inc. into it somehow (perhaps a new multi-company lineup) to go against a new all-female multi-company group (or you could just do your take on the Fem Force name since it already has its own logo).
