Zippy, Howard the Duck and Ambush Bug

It took me a couple of viewings, but I finally spotted the Howard The Duck cameo in Avengers: Endgame.  The question is, did he remain on Earth following the events of the movie, or return to space with the Guardians or the Ravagers?  I'm hoping the former, which would give him a chance to interact with some of Marvel's other heroes.  A scene with Spidey or Doctor Strange could be a real hoot.

Howard is still around? There may be hope yet.

Howard and Bat-Mite..... The huh? and the what the?!?

They don't look like they're having fun, yet. Maybe if Alfred E. Newman joined their company, they'd look less worried. ;-)

How about Howard the Duck and Donald Duck?

Howard the Duck and Ambush Bug I get... But I have never understood the appeal of Zippy the Pinhead. Can someone try to explain what … or maybe anything about Zippy? Not slamming Zippy, just trying to understand him and what exactly is Zippy suppose to represent.

I was just thinking last night that it's been a while since we saw Ambush bug on this blog. Given that he's basically your King of Unlikely Pairings, though, this isn't what I'd expected; with him, I think more along the lines of Spawn, Darth Vader, Blade, or even Captain America.

As to the MCU's Howard, if he left Earth it probably was with the Ravagers. If he'd been with the Guardians we probably would have known about it (unless, of course, he stowed away).

Zippy is about the last character I expected to see on a cover. If he were to appear in a Marvel book, I think Howard would be the perfect foil. I suspect Steve Gerber was probably a fan as he liked absurdism.

As for Howard in space, how about a team up with Dalgoda. You could call it Waaaugh the Dog. :)

@Matthew: or, failing that, how about Howard and Barf the Mog from "Spaceballs?"

I thought that Marvel comics already copyrighted the Legion of Losers?

@Arvel: Wednesday-Thursday-Friday?!

@Anonymous210: true! They were one-shot wonders as Spidey-foes. A sub-par Sinister Six, you might say. On the upside, it did give birth to Marvel's newest crime-fighting team. Grizzly Man and Gibbon the Ape Wonder!

Too bad they never got to meet the Dynamic Duo '66. :-)

Cary: Maybe it's time for Ross to do the Inferior Five vs. the Legion of Losers?

Good one!

But, if that proved impossible (even for Ross), I'd settle for the Great Lakes Avengers vs. a mind-controlled Fat Fury.

@Anon941: Don't be afraid to slam Zippy. Be very unafraid!

As Wayne and Garth might say: "He's totally worthy of being slammed!"
