Venom was a weird movie, but I found it oddly entertaining. The sequel is shaping up to be even weirder. With the undisputed master of motion capture Andy Serkis named as director, I think we can count on plenty of symbiote craziness. Plus we will have Woody Harrelson as Carnage entering the fray. It should be a wild ride.

Screw Venom. If Marvel wants to do secret Wars movie as a multi parter in the unknown future then they have to decide if they reintroduce Venom there, or a New Superior Venom. Maybe this Venom will be explained away as being sent to Earth by its parents when they thought their world was going to be destroyed or eaten.
I agree as far as Venom: weird, but entertaining. Despite official statements that it's not in the MCU, I saw nothing in the film itself that would contradict its being a part, so it could be brought in with minimal effort should Sony and Marvel decide to do that. I don't think they will, but I'd enjoy it.
Me? If I were a script writer for Marvel Films, I'd amalgamate the symbiotes with the Plodex. Have them be a genetically engineered lifeform developed by the Colonizers. That way, movie-goers could be introduced to Alpha Flight and the self-proclaimed "Master of the World!"
P.S.---Could this version of Venom be working the interdimensional entity known as the "Nth Man?" Or is he being mind-controlled by the Puppet Master on behalf of the "Mad" Thinker (who wants to analyze and mass produce Nth Metal for his own criminal purposes)?
Great Hawkman cover! Hawkman has always been one of my favorite DC characters. Unfortunately, DC (in my opinion) misused and abused this character for so long. I loved the JSA run of Hawkman's return. I don't know where the character stands (or flies) these days, but this STF cover depicts a battle that would be truly epic!
What would be truly terrifying would be this villain working for Batman's arch-nemesis. Joker's Venom
Hawkman has been back to his roots in new series and living them going from life to life in flashbacks. Love the new wings backpack. No Hawkwoman but despite the hawks being DC's first married superheros I do not think that is going to change.
@Glenn Hawkwoman showed up in the Justice League and we found out Katar has been dead for awhile. WAY TO GO dc.
So Katar of Thanagar is dead. No way for Hawkman to be reincarnated Katar based on current DC Universe so he was superfluous as much as I loved the Silver Age Hawks.
Was thinking about the cover and thought how dangerous Venom could be with nth-metal.
So, then, how about the Silver Age Hawks meet the Silverhawks?
