Wolverine and Sgt. Rock

There are a few ways that Marvel Studios can differentiate their cinematic version of Wolverine with what has gone before.  Introducing him as a member of Alpha Flight could be fun, or maybe as a solo Canadian Operative sent after The Hulk.  The costume has never been properly done, so I would love to see it attempted (especially the brown/tan version above).  Most importantly, he has to be short! I loved Hugh Jackman in the role, but seeing Logan tower over his teammates never worked for me.  Let's see the diminutive scrapper we know from the comics!

Perfect mash up! And a Sgt. Rock flick is long overdue. Of course, so is one for Blackhawk. They're both perfect for the big screen.

So Logan is just "a clip" off the old Rock.

Just one question. Which Immortus are they talking about: the shriveled bald one from the original Doom Patrol; or the ultimate avatar of Kang/Rama Tut?

The Time Travelling one, of course!

It was actually his brother Rigor Mortis that caused all the trouble.

@FisherKing: good one!

I agree on the height issue. I recall the Ultimate Handbook listing him as 5'5", so let's have the next guy be at least somewhere in that general neighborhood. Jackman's portrayal was just right, but I've little doubt that finding a properly-sized replacement who can do the character justice should be little trouble.

As for an introduction, how about if he shows up on the She-Hulk show on Disney+, in the first episode, to "take care of" an (apparently) out-of-control Hulk, only to accidentally injure Bruce's cousin Jennifer?

@jibgriggs2: I'm actually a little disappointed that Sgt. Rock and Easy Company, the Blackhawks, and DC's other WWII heroes have never had so much as a cameo on Legends of Tomorrow, especially since Jonah Hex was in two separate episodes. The Haunted Tank in particular would have been a great addition to the third or fourth seasons, and the Unknown Soldier would be a fun turn as well. Hopefully the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event will have at least cameos from Jonah and some of the war heroes.

Heck, it may even be time for Jonah to join the Legends, ending by being stranded in the distant future. Booster Gold might also be a fun addition to the show, especially if Ted Kord's Blue Beetle ever does show up in the Arrowverse.

PS: This just occurred to me as I was about to post. What if Awkwardman were to sustain some serious injuries, to the point where he needed a temporary replacement? Who would that be? Why, naturally: The Tick!

Another PS: The world needs to see Ambush Bug wearing the Infinity Gauntlet.

@Bob: I second that emotion! I even have the perfect premise. A sequel to BRAVE & THE BOLD (THE LOST ISSUES) #254. Wherein, Bat-Mite and the Impossible Man have to set aside their past differences in order to double-team Ambush Bug and, thereby, recover the Infinity Gauntlet.

Hopefully, anyway.
