Batman and Red Sonja in: "Blade of the Behemoth!"

With more casting rumors swirling, I am hoping that we hear more about Matt Reeves upcoming Batman movie featuring Robert Pattinson in the lead role.  It seems like a crowded affair, with five villains in the mix.  My big hope is that Batman will finally have the white eyes from the comics.  Deadpool and Spider-Man have shown that they can be effectively emotive on screen, and it would be a good way to separate this new version from the look of past live action Batmans.

Batman first met Red Sonja way back in 2010, during my B&B MS Paint days...

Well, nine years ago or now, Red Sonja teaming up with Batman would be restricted to one of two possibilities. Nefarious time traveling by Degaton, Zarrko, or Kang (to name a few). Or spontaneous magical reincarnation inside a convenient modern-day redhead. Like, say, Barbara Gordon!

Personally, I'd go with the latter. In order to give new meaning to Barbara's cyber-handle...Oracle.

Cary, for those of us who are unfamiliar with Sonja, how would that give new meaning to Oracle?

How about tht Flintstones, in the Pebble's birth scene (with the sign "10,000 B.C.") meet Red Sonja and Conan; they might even refer to them as Red Stone-ya and Stonan. LOL! XD!

Marvel, back when they had the comics rights to Red Sonja, teamed her up with Spiderman in the present day by having her spirit pass temporarily (via her sword, in a museum exhibition of Hyborian Age items) into Mary-Jane Watson...

Another look that can inform the choice of Batman's white eyes is Doctor Fate, as he appeared in Smallville. The Helmet of Nabu covered Brent Stait's entire face except for the eyes, and even those were partially obscured by the internal lights. The resulting effect was quite powerful, and I think that giving Batman white eye coverings would do something quite similar.

The Anonymous suggestion about the Flintstones has some merit, but I'd kind of like to see Judge Dredd recruiting Mr. Flintstone, where he could become Judge Fredd.

On another note: With She-Hulk getting her own Disney+ series toward the end of Marvel's Phase 5, I think it'd be cool to see here teaming up with Supergirl, possibly working to find their respective more-famous cousins. Ditto Moon Knight (in mid-5) with my earlier suggestion of pitting him against Eclipso. (For the other Phase 5 series, featuring Ms. Marvel, I'm not sure who I'd want to team her with, though it might be fun to see her trying to handle Ambush Bug.)

PS: Someone just pointed out to me a pyrophobia connection: Captain Ultra and the Martial Manhunter.

Considering Red S is teamed up with Betty & Veronica in Archie's, there should be no limit on anything. Archie became the new Batman - everyone has traveled to Riverdale.

Supergirl could go to She-Hulk for a legal situation. She could have replaced Matt Murdock as "The Superhero's Lawyer". Come to think of it, does DC have a current hero that is a lawyer in their secret identity?

Thank you, Simreeve! :-)

I couldn't have explained that better, myself.

@Anon1249: neither Superman nor Wonder Woman have yet visited Riverdale. So, technically, ALMOST everybody has visited! But, not quite.

Urgent update!

Red Sonja is teaming up with Vampirella in a six-part mini-series for Dynamite Entertainment. The setting: the Soviet Union, 1969. The premise: Vampi, newly arrived from Drakulon, is investigating the real-life tragedy of Dytalov Pass. Nine Russian mountaineers who died in their long-Ivans after evacuating their snowbound base camp, in the dead of night, in an apparent blind panic.

Did a feral, time-displaced Red Sonja do it?
