Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will finally bring the true Mandarin into the MCU. Most comics fans did not like the bait and switch fake Mandarin from Iron Man 3, so it will be interesting to see how the character is handled now that Marvel Studios is giving him another shot on the big screen. Collecting the ten rings, each possessing its own power seems a little similar to the Infinity Gauntlet, so I wonder if they will change that up at all. Most interesting is the rumor that The Mandarin will be revealed as Shang-Chi's father, replacing Fu-Manchu from the comics version.

Add Iron Fist and complete the group. Collect them all for 10 rings, 6 stones and A Partridge in a Pear Tree ./`
I wonder if someone with a taste for PUNS thought up a character named KING Fu! XD!
I hope the Mandarin isn't a one-n-done villain. He needs to be a constant threat throughout several movies and not killed off after the first movie's grand finale fight scene.
Will yellow claw be mentioned
This is when you add Lady Shiva to the mix.
And for the sequel, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings adds
Richard Dragon, Bruce Lee, Karate Kid, Lady Shiva, Hong Kong Phooey, Stick, Iron Fist, Elektra and Taskmaster! And You get a ring, and you get a ring, and ..etc, etc,
etc.
With Woodstock's 50th anniversary coming later this month, maybe Malificient (Disney's Sleeping Beauty could meet the Witches of Woodstock (American Dragon), who clothing color is reminiscent of the clothing color of Sleeping Beauty's trio of good fairies.
If Woodstock is 50, how old is Snoopy?
Lords of the Ring?

In dog years 7 or 8. Woodstock flew the coop.
The Mandarin is supposed to be Iron Man's greatest foe. Has he ever even fought Shang-Chi?
This looks like a job for Mr. Action, Jimmy Olsen.
Actually, you got the number for the TMNT?
The real Mandarin having used one of his subordinates to hire a fake Mandarin would actually be a brilliant ret-con. And that goes double for making him Shang-Chi's silver screen father!
I've always told Jack (the guy who owns my hometown comic shop) that once Marvel lost the licensing rights to Fu Manchu, they should've ret-conned the Yellow Claw into being Shang-Chi's old man in the "Master of Kung Fu" comic book. Because the latter had so clearly been modeled after the former!
But, doing that with the Mandarin instead, purely for the sake of a feature film debut, is an easily acceptable alternative.

I don't really know. But, rumor has it Snoopy is just hanging on.
P.S. @ 10-4ward:
How about Mr. Action teaming up with Capt.Action and Action Jackson?
Action? Figures.

Truth be told, Snoopy was doing great until he went shopping at the supermarket and saw... Red Barron Pizza! Then he flew off the handle.
And that's one thing Marvel has to be honest about. They have Heroes, villains, plots, and creations but they ain't got ACTION. Only DC still has that.
He then said, "Hello, pepperoni. Good bi-plain!"
Using Fu Manchu in any capacity in an MCU film has problems, most of them stemming from either copyright issues and how severely the character represents Asian stereotypes. Thus, it's practically a given that the Mandarin will be brought in to replace him as Shang-Chi's father for the movie. Of course nothing is known about the plot as yet, though I suspect that the Mandarin will already have his Ten Rings, with them being the basis for his longevity. The title character discovering how the the man he's been raised to think was a force for good is actually evil may also be a little too much like this year's Captain Marvel, so we'll have to wait for a trailer or something.
As to whom he'd team up with, DC's master martial artist is Karate Kid, with whom Shang-Chi teamed up in #1700. As this film draws closer, I'd like to see them start to form an ongoing partnership.
Snoopy knew He was finally out of the doghouse.
He told his waitress, Pat Sajack, "I'll take the "A" and "W" to go."
