Cyclops and Robotman

Cyclops is one of the X-Men that I am most eager to see given anther shot at live action once Marvel brings the team into the MCU.  I found him to be very under-utilized in the Fox films, both the original and the younger "First Class" team. Having him killed off in X3 was not what many fans wanted to see, I'd wager.  Hopefully his eventual return will feature the competent field leader that we know from the comics.

I was a big X-Men fan when they started. Even stuck around thru "just the reprint era". Having seen what the newer generation of writers did to Mr Summers wasn't any thing to be inspired by. Ever since Peter Parker had the devil rip his marriage apart to save Aunt May from death and then Doc Ock took over his brain like Dr Doom did to Reed in FF #10, I haven't really wanted to read anything from the Marvel neighborhood.

Scott becoming what he did in the Marvel universe left a very bitter taste.

Let's hope the MCU never unwisely indulges in a "Superior" (emphasis on the unapologetically sarcastic quotes) Spidey-flick.

I'd like to see the original X-Men recruit Magnus Robot Fighter to help take down Sentinels. Or even more outrageous, Magnus Robot Fighter vs Transformers

Great cover. I always felt Cyclops was one of the most misused and poorly written characters in comics. A solid writer could develop some interesting stories with him.

@unknown, until the next writer or producer come along with their own idea or inspiration (like Batman done by Clooney).

(I lied! I really am a robot so there.)

@Robot U-said: the disastrousness of that Bat-sequel was entirely the costume designer's fault. No matter what Clooney, himself, said in misguided altruism!
