Green Arrow and The Silver Surfer

Lots of rumors and speculation are swirling about about the next big bad villain in the MCU, and Galactus is at the top of the list.  I can't imagine he will be brought forth in any kind of major way before either the Silver Surfer or the Fantastic Four are introduced, though - so I don't expect much from Phase Four.  Maybe we can expect a post-credits tease, though.

Now, there's a pairing I would never have thought of: Norrin Radd and Ollie.
Since Roy has been killed off by DC for now, "Speedy" and " Arsenal" may get new caretakers again.
Considering what DC is putting Wally West thru, Roy might be better off for awhile.

Maybe Matter-eater Lad can teach Galactus to eat atoms of matter in the air or sunlight in order to control his appetite. What an eating contest those 2 could have.

Since Galactus comes from outside of time from a prior universe and the JL is taking on the mother of the current DC universe, there's a hook up that could really get a fresh look at things. How would the Monitor treat Galactus?

@Horsefeathers: FYI, a prior universe is NOT outside of time!

If that's the case, whose time is it? Can you have two times that are exactly the same but different?

Ross if you want to mine the pages for Silver, besides the Surfer, there's Silver the horse, Silver St Cloud, Silver Sable, Silver Sorceress, Silver Dagger, .Silver Samurai, .Silver Banshee, Silvermane, Silver Tongue and no, I'm not going to mention Quicksilver. I wouldn't want to be responsible for a run on silver. Anyone know if there's a character called Silver Lining or Silver Moon?

If you can watch from a third universe or Vanishing Point, and see one universe end and another replace it, you still have a continued timeline from where you're at. Take your time with this.

I think you mean "re-introduced." As, thus far, I still regard the two FF movies, with Chris Evans as the Human Torch, to have been more canonical than that b*****dization with the adopted-from-Russia Susan Storm. I mean, let's face it. Even Marvel's "Ultimate" imprint didn't go that far out of bounds with their ret-conning!

As for today's cover; when did nitrogen become Galactus' kryptonite?

@Horsefeathers: I'd prefer Galactus being matched up (matrimonially or otherwise) with the Queen of Fables.

"nitrogen-tipped arrows"?

Leaked information is that the Phase 4 Big Bad Villains for Phase 4-5 will be Korvac for the space stories, and Norman Osborn for the earth-based heroes. I think Galactus will come along some time during Phase 5 or 6, though as a secondary threat (possibly to tie the two sides of the MCU together) and, as you say, not before we've met the Silver Surfer and/or Fantastic Four. I only apply that to his landing on Earth, though; he could show up in the Eternals film, if those folks go into space, or in some space-based Phase 4 movie, eating some other planet.

As for this cover, I too am wondering about the significance of the arrows being tipped with nitrogen (presumably frozen into solid form).

Of course I recognize that these are the Earth-Two Oliver and Roy, which would make for a much different story here (mainly in terms of tone) than one with their Earth-One counterparts.

I'm also still hoping that September brings us a photo cover with Green Arrow and Hawkeye, given their coming bow-outs of their respective universes.

I generally prefer to go a little more retro with my photo covers (Cap/WW being the one exception so far that comes to mind.)

I respect that (I'd love to see George Reeves and Adam West in one of those). I'm just thinking that the timing is perfect for an Amell/Renner cover (even more than the Gadot/Evans one).

"Bow" outs? Ha ha!

To say that he was versatile would be woefully inadequate.

RIP, Mr. Colon.
