We saw Shaman on the blog yesterday, now we see what his teammate Snowbird is up to. All of the Members of Alpha Flight are interesting characters, and I'd love to see them utilized more. Even in animation, they have only made a couple of appearances. Who knows how far down the list they are on Marvel properties to bring to the MCU, but I hope the wait isn't too long.

I think an Alpha Flight movie would be a great place to introduce Wolverine and include a battle with The Hulk. They just need to have Banner go back to a more savage Hulk.
Since almost all of the classic Avengers have either been introduced or are on the way, I expect the mutant related characters to start getting attention. There are so many mutants that they could crank out new movies and shows for decades.
Hopefully they will not forget some lesser known characters like Deathlok, Ka-Zar, Power Pack, Machine Man, Quasar, and Man-Thing. Some of the New Universe characters might also be interesting for shows or movies.
Yes. The only classic Avengers unaccounted for now are Moondragon, Beast, Tigra, Dr Druid, and Quasar. Beast will come with the mutants. Tigra was supposed to get an animated series and was in the Rescue Rangers movie so she has not been forgotten. Moondragon and Quasar will probably show up eventually. Dr Druid is probably out of luck.

Yes. We need more Alpha Flight. If the MCU can turn a minor team like the Guardians of the Galaxy into a major property, they can do the same for Alpha Flight!

@Fiddle Faddle: I've actually been thinking that a Wolverine movie (or possibly miniseries) would be the perfect place to do the Hulk vs. Wolverine battle, but flipping it on its head: Banner just happens to be in the area when Logan escapes the Weapon X facility and starts a rampage.
@Scoopsy: We're easing into mutants already. The Ms. Marvel finale* gave us the MCU's first utterance of "the M word";** and Namor, who at least is a mutant in the comics, is slated to be a part of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" this fall. We may even get a few surprises in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law or Season 2 of Loki.
@Cary: Well, as long as it's the communal cookie jar. I keep my own on the kitchen counter.
@Jim: Some buildup will probably still be needed, though the CA:WS mention can be a start. Personally I think at least Guardian could show up in the above-mentioned Wolverine project.
@Ross: Speaking of Guardian, I took a look and found that Jim Hudson had been teamed up with Jim Harper as the secondary tale in #665. These two need a moment side-by-side in a featured tale.
*Hopefully just a season finale, not the series finale.
**I've been seeing links on Twitter to an article where the character's creator had originally wanted her to be a mutant rather than an Inhuman; the change was dictated by what was going on in the larger stories at the time.

You should do the Marvel and Tolkien Saurons versus Gandalf and Doctor Druid.
Next time Ross, Shaman and Firehawk. You could do the current version of "On a wing & a prayer".
@Tobor: I think I'd rather see that title used for a team-up of Angel and the Confessor.
Moondragon could appear in Guardians of the Galaxy. Quasar should be in The Marvels since he was originally Marvel Boy and the quantum bands are similar to the nega bands. Dr Druid would be a good supporting character for Blade with Jason Alexander in the role.
How will they explain the XMen and mutants just now appearing? They can't say mutants just developed and keep Wolverines backstop. Did Professor X suppress public awareness of mutant activities?

With the multiverse now at hand and the potential for history to get written over thanks to the coming "Kang Wars" we may end up with a huge retcon that comes out of whatever we get in Phase V of the MCU...
@Alec and Bob: split the difference. Have the astral body of Tolkien's Sauron take over the corporeal body of Karl Lykos (the mutant Sauron) through the latter's life-force absorption ability. That was the plot device used for Karma temporarily being controlled by Amahl "the Shadow King" Farouk. He turned her mutant power against her!
Could the Lord of Mordor do any less?
I still laugh whenever anything reminds me of Sauron's comeback when Spiderman complained that he was wasting his skills to by using them to turn people into dinosaurs, when he could be using them to develop a cure for cancer.
"But I don't want to develop a cure for cancer, I want to turn people into dinosaurs."
(And then I groan as well, at least internally, when I have to wonder how many of the writers & editors who've worked on stories involving Sauron over the years think that the Pterosaurs were dinosaaurs...)

Nope.
"Dinosaurs", properly, refers only to the members of the Saurischia (i.e. the Sauropoda and the Therpoda) & the Ornithischia: Pterosauria is outside that grouping... Not outside of it by far, admittedly, because it's the lineage most closely related to those out of any that most people are likely to have heard off, but even so calling the Pterosaurs "Dinosaurs" is like calling the Bats "Ungulates"...
(Sorry, but as a Zoology graduate I can get a bit fussy about such matters.)
Depends on whether the bats have an odd number of wing-fingers or an even number. ;-D
Ding-ding-ding! And the fight ends in a scoreless tie.
Although, personally, I'll always prefer "Brontosaurus" over "Apatosaurus," no matter how many zoology majors get nervous.
