Power Girl and She-Hulk (Vs. The Psycho Pirate)

I'm looking forward to She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Disney+.  There were some complaints about dodgy CGI in the trailer, but I've seen updated footage that allays those fears, I think it will look fine.  Still, I do wonder why they couldn't just paint Tatiana Maslany green and give her a wig and some small props at least for the close up shots.  It seems that would be cheaper and simpler, but perhaps it would be too hard to match it up to the CGI shots they do use if they went that way.

Power Girl and She-Hulk first met in STF #1482...

She-Hulk overcomes Wonder Woman. Power Girl overcomes She-Hulk? Rating chart is growing. Nice seeing Psycho Pirate getting some remembrance. Would Professor Xavier be able to overcome Psycho Pirate? Great scene, Ross.

YEAH! CHICK FIGHT!!

Hey! I was a devoted watcher of the original G.L.O.W. series telecast from the old Riviera Hotel in Vegas. What more need I say?

I'm also looking forward to that show. I had some outgoing mockery for those who criticized the early trailers, especially when they compared the CGI work with finished movies when the show was still 4 months away. A "first look" trailer is exactly that: a first look at something that isn't finished, to give a general idea about what it's going to be like. It's not a finished product.

Besides seeing the brilliant Tatiana Maslany (whose name is a lot more fun to say than it is to type), I'm also looking forward to seeing the various "clients" that have been teased, as well as rumored appearances by Charlie Cox and (more recently) Kristin Ritter.

As for today's cover, I think Psycho-Pirate will be spending the next few months saying "It seemed like a good idea at the time" from his hospital bed.

@Tobor: While I do think that Power Girl would win this fight (due to being Kryptonian), I wouldn't count She-Hulk out based on just one lucky punch. The fight could go on for at least three or four pages, and that's assuming the writer decides to cut it short. I even suspect that Karen's holding back a bit, or Jessica would've been knocked back quite a bit further; after all, these are two of the (physically) strongest women in comics.

@Tobor: Bob's right. Even in their very first confrontation (way back in what was only the 3rd collaboration between DC and Marvel), the only reason Superman got sucker-punched by the Incredible Hulk was an initial under-estimation of just how powerful Old Jade-jaws really was! But, once the Man of Steel knew what to expect, he became the immovable object to the Hulk's irresistible force.

A now-classic two-page spread!

Great cover. W/ Psycho Pirate lurking, it's a fantastic set up for the story.

I can't see the Psycho-Pirate without remembering how Black Adam dealt with him in 'Infinite Crisis'..

"No more silly faces."

No doubt that was long since totally erased from continuity by "Flashpoint."

'Kiss-kiss-say?"

I'd say that Power Girl is putting a fat lip on She-Hulk's kisser! ;-)
