Batman and Quicksilver in "A Split-Second Miscalculation!"
Batman's Bat-Planes have had many looks in the movies. My favorite is still The Batwing from Batman '89, jut an ingenious design. Affleck's ride wasn't as stylized, but still pretty cool. The Japan sequence in The Dark Knight is a favorite of mine, but I was a little let down that he just used a normal looking plane there, couldn't it at least have been black? Still, it was better than whatever they had Christian Bale flying around in for The Dark Knight Rises - I thought that was kind of ugly and resembled an unfolded cardboard box. Let's hope Robert Pattinson has better design sense when he decides to take to the sky.
Batman and Quicksilver first crossed paths on one of my earliest covers, an MS Paint effort from 2010...

For some, the"plane" truth is that Image is everything. I don't fly that way. The pairing is very strong in this gathering. Well done.
What 3-H said! :-)
Jack Kirby truly was the "King" when it came to accurate portrayal of emotional states via the facial expressions of the characters he depicted. Pietro has never looked so obsessed with urgency!
If this were an actual comic, I'd guess that the Joker and the Toad had teamed up...to kidnap the Scarlet Witch.
Yes! Thanks for taking the opportunity to show off the original green costume. I know the blue makes way more sense with his name, but I grew up with original X-Men and Cap's Kooky Quartet, so for me, Quicksilver is green.
"Bat-Planes"...haven't heard 'em called that in a while...;)
This could serve as a prequel to STF #3496. Assuming Anonymous is right about the motive for Quicksilver's urgency, Dick Grayson--as the original Robin--was probably already at work on Wanda's rescue! Hence, the rather joyfully amorous expression on her face (@ STF #3496).
Vote for Pietro
Only he's non-Republican.
