3-D man didn't make a lot of appearances, but I always thought he looked pretty cool and that more should be done with him. Kurt Busiek tried a rebrand with Triathlon in his Avengers run, but that version of the hero didn't seem to catch on. That character, Delroy Garrett, eventually took on the 3-D Man name and appearance, but hasn't appeared very much since then. I say bring the Agents of Atlas back with him as a member, just as his predecessor was.

Why is 3D Man green and red instead of blue and red? Most 3D glasses were always blue and red.
@Anonymous: The ones originally issued in the late Fifties/early Sixties were green-and-red. As were the ones issued in the mid-Eighties when 3-D movies enjoyed a brief resurgence both on TV and in movie theaters.
@Ross: Didn't 3-D Man have a Golden Age counterpart (also by Jack Kirby) who fought extra-dimensional cat people?
*Sigh!* These ray gunners must've been hired from out of town. Metropolis gangsters would know better than to aim anywhere in Superman's direction!
Suggestion for a later cover:
Dream of the Endless (Neil Gaiman's Sandman) versus his renegade son, Nightmare (the Marvel villain).
There's been some fan-wishing for a live-action Agents of Atlas, especially with Jimmy Woo showing such leadership skills during WandaVision (though there are others who think that he, Monica, and Darcy should lead an Agents of S.W.O.R.D. series).
@Anon@6:02: Cary's quite correct. In fact, this is the first I've heard of 3D glasses being blue and red.
@Anon@8:28: Not if they're fueled by Kryptonite! (A few other ET ray guns have affected him as well, as I recall, though I don't remember any specifics.)
@Kid C: I second that idea. (Though somehow I just can't quite picture Dream saying, "You're not too old for me to take you over my knee!")
Maybe if Jack Kirby's Sandman (Dr. Garrett Sanford) were to help, he'd stand a better chance.
Because if 3-D was Blue and Red he'd be the Golden Age Daredevil :p

another great all Kirby cover, Ross, and you could have used another character created for Harvey Comics by Jack's old partner Joe Simon called Captain 3-D.....
and if you do a quick Google search for Captain 3-D you can even find a Jack Kirby and Bill Black picture of the Captain in the same pose as 3-D Man....

P.S.---that would make a great sequel to this story. Golden Age Daredevil versus Gemini of the original Silver Age Zodiac. You know; just for the bifurcated costume!
