I still think it's crazy that we have never seen a Wonder Woman animated series yet. She certainly has an interesting enough supporting cast and rogues gallery to pull it off. I'd love to see a show that explores her history from her origins through the various decades to the present day.
Wonder Woman and Xena previously shared a live action adventure in STF #2527...

It could be that Kang is trying to prevent them from discovering a certain truth. Namely that, in the Ross-verse, Diana is Xena's future-daughter...by a certain red-bearded Lion of Olympus.
Wouldn't that make for an awkward family reunion with Vixen present?
There was a planned cartoon that would have teamed Wonder Woman and the Zoo Crew.

I'm more interested in Kang right now. Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania is out early next year, and I'm wondering what his look will be like -- how "comic accurate" he'll be. Of course, given the nature of the character, the producers will have many, many chances to get it "right"!
Possibly an old-fashion guess, but I'd bet that Wonder Woman action figures and merch sell much less than Bats and Supes (any maybe even Aquaman and Flash) merc. So the business folks that order the animated shows aren't clamoring for a WW show. And with the WW bubble after the first movie burst after the second one, (not to mention DC/HBO/Warner/Discovery having bigger problems at the moment) the branding folks aren't pushing for a show now either.
I'm surprised you punsters have no comment on today's title. Maybe I'm the only Bob Hope fan here.
Maybe it's Kang's meddling that somehow caused the various anacronisms in Xena's series?
Nope! You're not. But, the pun would've been better if Kang had been taking on, say, the crew of the Haunted Tank. Just saying!
;-)
Don't listen to Anon1030, Ross. Your pun is way funnier than any of the intended jokes in THOR: LOVE & BLUNDER!*
*I saw it earlier this afternoon. Disappointing, for the most part.
Sorry, Ross. That pun is pretty much standard comic-book writer level. We'll let you know when they reach stellar (or abysmal) quality.
And no, you're not the only Bob Hope fan here. I'm thinking you may drop him into something somewhere -- like Back to the Future! ("Hope for the Future," anyone?) Or meet him up with Obi-Wan Kenobi! ("The Old Hope!")
Or Bob meets Bruce the Shark from JAWS!
"The Great White Hope."
I'm being half-serious, by the way. Didn't both Bob and Jerry Lewis have DC comics during the late Fifties/early Sixties? Such being the case, there must be image captures of that cover art somewhere on the Internet!
@Cary: I just did a Bing Images search for "Bob Hope comic book." There are gobs of images for Ol' Ski-Nose, and the art style would fit him right in with Plastic Man or the Inferior Five... though he might be more fun with She-Hulk, Zatanna, or some other notably gorgeous superheroines.
PS @Ross: I wonder if we could have a team-up of the Martian Manhunter with Captain Ultra? They both have their issues with fire.
Oh! Oh! Maybe with Frankie Horton-Raye (alias NOVA II) standing over them in "flame on" mode?
I second Anon's emotion. :-)
