Blue Beetle and Wolverine

There was a rumor about Ted Kord showing up in the upcoming Blue Beetle movie, to be played by Jason Sudekis.  Alas it was quickly debunked, but the casting seems so perfect to me that I hope maybe fans can will it into existence like happened with John Krasinski as Reed Richards. Kord Industries will be playing a big role in the film, so I suppose there is still hope that he can show up.  Maybe just a mid-credits scene where he arrives to help Jaime Reyes with some kind of tech issue.

This cover raises much more interesting questions. For instance; what kind of tech issue is Ted Kord supposed to be helping Logan with? The capture of Wendigo for Department H? If so, for what purposed? To affect the rescue of Sasquatch from Master Khan? Or is Sasquatch merely being impersonated by a mystically indentured Super-Skrull?

Let the over-enthusiastic speculation begin. :-)

Absolutely love this cover! The Byrne art blends perfectly, and what a fun idea. Ted’s sarcasm with Logan’s gruffness would mix like oil and water. Would really enjoy this team up!

My speculation (per Cary) is that Ted's helping Logan deal with something at an old Department H/Weapon X facility, and Wendigo "just happened" to get in the way (read: manipulated by someone like Hector Hammond, the Thinker, or the Psycho-Pirate).

On another note, I know that people have been looking for a Wolverine vs. Hulk fight, and it just dawned on my how that could be done: reverse the roles. If Logan has just escaped the Weapon X facility and is rampaging across the countryside, Banner can happen to be in the area and be called in for help restraining him.

Another great cover. I think these two would make an excellent team together. Nicely done.

Missing seeing "The Bug" in the sky, and thinking you could do a cover with a garage full of various popular vehicles like The Bug, The Blackbird, The Whirly-Bat, The Quinjet, etc.

And in the sequel, Peter Pan and Wendigo...

But I don't know where

@Anon552: for the Wendigo; how about the planet Hoth in a certain galaxy far, far away?* And for Peter Pan; how about the Kingdom of Hyrule?**

*There, he has to fight off the over-amorous attentions of a lonely female wampa beast!

**There, he keeps getting ambushed by the vengeful enemies of Link (a la the first time Travis Morgan met Green Arrow)!

Reg's idea of iconic air vehicles would probably work best if in the air, rather than in a hangar.

I'd want to limit it to solo heroes' planes, though, and the only ones I can think of right off are the Batplane, the Bug, and the Thunderquack. But just seeing those last two side-by-side would be quite a sight.

So, for that matter, would be the Thunderquack flying with the Blackhawks.

I can also think of _

Archie (Nightowl [II]'s counterpart of the Bug)
The Arrowplane (from back when Green Arrow was openly copying Batman in various ways)
Birdy (Airboy's ornithopter)
Nick Fury's flying car
Santa's reindeer-drawn flying sleigh (Versions of Santa have worked with at least two superheroes -- Superman, and the Badger -- after all...)

Is that a Ditko Blue Beetle? I think I'm even more intrigued by a Byrne Ditko team up than the two heroes. How would those two industry giants have dealt with each other? Both were known for their strong opinions on their craft.
