Recently I have been watching the 1967 Jonny Quest series on HBO Max, and thoroughly enjoying them. Sure, the animation of the time was fairly limited, but the plots and gorgeous visual work more than make up for that. Alex Toth's designs for the characters, vehicles, hi-tech devices and weapons are a joy to take in. Toth also gave Space Ghost one of the greatest superhero costumes ever, so It's no surprise.

This is indeed a cool cover, Ross. Sure, SG's pose doesn't seem to match the situation, but so what? With the coolness of the match-up, the situation as presented, and the story it suggests, that becomes a mere quibble.
Maybe SC's next fare can be Dr. Stephen Strange, on a trip to catch up to his brother Adam....
@jack-el: Given Johnny Bravo's "Hey, hey, pretty mama" personality, he might also be fun as a guest in the next Power Couple appearance, wouldn't you agree?
I tried to choose an SG image with an expression as if to say What the - I'm not the one who needs protection here.
In that respect, Ross, you succeeded. Space Ghost does, indeed, seem bemused by the irony of Space Cabbie's declaration. Flattering and laudable though it might be!
And, while it's true that the animation employed by Hanna-Barbera was very limited in the Sixties (especially with regard to funding and technology), you have to admit there was still a world of difference between the way their FTA's (Funny Talking Animals) were drawn...and the way Alex Toth drew human characters. The latter looking much more true-to-life.
In any case? Thanks for another great piece of the nostalgia I love most. :-)
Leave it to Ethen Beavers to keep us guessing on who is threatening Space Ghost. Death's head and one of the android Manhunters, perhaps?
P.S.---if so, would Metallis have been responsible for reprogramming them to fixate on Space Ghost?
