Who would have thought that the character on this cover most likely to show up in a big budget movie first would be Fin Fang Foom? At least he has been heavily rumored to be showing up in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Hopefully we will see a teaser or trailer before too long and see if there is any confirmation of Foom's involvement.

About ten seconds before this page opened up, I was going to request a team-up between the dragon-like Grogg and Elizabeth Seward ("Queen of the Blood-Red Moon")!! But, I'm willing to settle for this depiction instead. Especially if Killer Frost were mind-controlling Triple F through some kind of psychic link with the shadowy Dragon of Titan.*
*That Saturnian entity who initially mind-controlled Heather "Moondragon" Douglas.

Actually, if someone had listed these four characters and asked me which I figured would be first to reach the big screen, FFF would've been my pick. A big-screen Firestorm is probably on nobody's radar, Frost is closely tied to him, and Quasar (who is barely within my awareness) would, at best, first show up as a cameo in someone else's movie or Disney+ series. Fin is a character with a bit of a cult following, and besides Shang-Chi he'd have an opening to show up in at least Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and possibly other works as well (Captain Marvel 2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and the eventual Fantastic Four re-reboot come to mind, even if each is individually unlikely).
Even right here on this blog, Fin's been a part of The Damned, and individually encountered heroes from Jonny Quest to the Metal Men. I can see many other possibilities, too: Doctor Fate, Camelot 3000, Men in Black, Hiccup (How to Train Your Dragon), Bugs Bunny, Droopy, and the Inferior Five, to name just what comes right to mind. I could also see him forming an alliance with Mordru or Darkseid.
Oh, and you missed that Firestorm encountered Fin before, in #1447.
PS: That idea of the Inferior Five fighting Fin Fang Foom is an actual request, both because I love whenever the I5 show up here (especially against an incredibly powerful foe) and because it would be a great opportunity for a ridiculous level of alliteration.
