Rocket Racoon and Ultra the Multi-Alien

Fans are going crazy for Krypto in the new Superman trailer, and considering James Gunn's deft handling of Rocket Raccoon and other animal characters, I can understand why.  I loved the brief glimpse at Metamorpho as well - If Gunn can successfully bring that tough to adapt Silver Age hero to the big screen, who's to say the Ultra the Multi-Alien is off the table for an appearance in a future DCU project?

Maybe Rocket Raccoon could meet Rory Raccoon of Linus the Lionhearted.

@Ross: "studio budget directors" is the first answer that springs to mind.

@ the last three Anons: What about Rocket Raccoon and/or Squirrel Girl meeting Rocky the Flying Squirrel?

And, not as part of the Rocket Pack, either. But, one-on-one (which they haven't done for the last nine years)!

How about Ultra the Multi Alien meets Metamorpho? Because, you know, both are divided into four dis-similar-looking quadrants? Well, I guess five parts in Metamorpho's case, but still... Or have you done that one already and dopey me forgot (again)?

Ultra and Metamorpho are both from DC so it doesn’t really with the theme of the blog. Maybe if I do a team of split characters or something

Has DC ever had the two meet? Sometimes I'm surprised by what characters are both owned by the same company, but have never actually met/interacted on page/screen.

Afaik they never have, but unfortunately that proves nothing whatsoever. I'm not even aware of anything Ultra appeared in after the 1960s, though I should Google it to make sure.

I think USAgent and Guy Gardner would make a great pair. Both were drawn by John Byrne in the 80s so the art would match. Plus both hit the big screen next year!

det_Tobor here: Together, they meet Super Skrull!

Metamorpho meets the android Capt. Marvel, then?

The same goes for Dane Whitman as the Black Knight and Peyton Parks as his distaff namesake from Zenescope Comics.

@Jason: according to Comic Vine, his most recent appearance was seven years ago in a two-parter from DC's "Scooby Doo Team Up" (primarily guest-starring the Martian Manhunter).

This Ultra has already met Super Skrull.

Ultra (& Metamorpho & Element Girl) need to team up with 3-D Man at some point.
