Awesome! Simply and totally awesome! :-D
I'll echo the awesome. Also loved the behind-the-scenes peek. The hard work paid off handsomely!
I echo Davejonz' echo. How about, someday, a sequel done like a movie theater lobby card? Pierce Brosnan as Kent Nelson and Charlize Theron as Clea!
Better yet, Danny Devito as The Penguin and Adam Sandler as Happy Gilmore.
How about Mento, Brain Boy, and Professor X (The Mental Brigade) vs Killgrave.
Det_Tobor here. Ross, some of your covers are so much better than the originals. Like this one.
A check at Amethyst's STF label shows you've only used her 3 times so far = Xena, Beta Ray Bill & Martinex. Maybe she could meet some spellbinders from other realms in 2025. It's shocking that she hasn't encountered Dr. Strange & Clea, Thor & Scarlet Witch, Human Torch & Crystal, Crystar, Magik & any Marvel Moonstone foe by now. The Power Pack would also be some 80s kid super power excitement for her.
I would very eagerly read this. Very, very eagerly. I love magic. Always have, since I was a kid. Hence my love of characters like Doctor Strange, Clea, Doctor Fate, Phantom Stranger, etc.
But I do have some more ideas to share. They may be me repeating ones i've said before, though. I can't remember everything i shared before.
One Idea I want to share again: Bob Hope and Millie the Model. It's a weird one, I know. But I read both of their comics, and they weren't bad. So you know... I'd read a comic with both of them.
Also, you know the old Charlton character named Son of Vulcan? I didn't, until I found out about him a few months ago. And ever since I heard of him, i've wanted to see him meet Thor or Hercules or something. Play up the Greek vs Roman vs Norse angle. Battle of the Pantheons. Rick Riordan did that Greek vs Roman thing with his Heroes of Olympus books, and now I keep wanting to apply it to comics.
Finally for now, I kind of want to see my favourite original x-man (cyclops) team up with my favourite doom patrol member (negative man).
Playing golf or lawn darts?
Failing that, I'd settle for Darkstar (Laynia Petrovich) vs.Negative Woman (Valentina Vostok).
This cover is actually an improvement over the original, Ross.
True, that!
