Dick Tracy Vs. Two-Face

Harvey Dent is of course referring here to the events of STF #2497, where Tracy got the jump on a group of Bat-Villains. Let's see how things work out in a one-on-one confrontation, something that I am guessing they would both prefer for their own reasons.

Whoa! I'm first for once? Awesome!

Dick Tracy vs. Harvey Dent; just the two of them. As brilliant as it is delightfully unexpected. The only you way you could (arguably) top this is if Blade and Dick Tracy took on...The Monk! The sinister antagonist from the Golden Age Batman's first two-part adventure. But, for now, I'll settle for appreciating this depiction.*

*At least, until tomorrow's morning work, of course! ;-)

Great pairing Two Face would fit right in with Tracy's rogues gallery.

Another great pairing would be a reunion between Dick Tracy and Tintin. It's been twelve years (and 4,408 issues) since those two last worked together!

Jim Gordon should be next partner of Tracy in this blog but maybe the younger Lt Gordon.

Two-Face is one of those Bat-Villains that almost (I say, almost) work better as a Tracy villain. The Penguin, the Joker, and Falseface are a few others. It'd be nice to see those happen some time.

On another turn, I was chatting with a friend yesterday about my idea for an all-Kurt Russell cover, and she had some ideas to help flesh out a story for it. It develops that Ego, the Living Planet (the MCU version, of course) wants some way to quickly reach the entire universe, and so abducts Santa Claus (The Christmas Chronicles) to try to get his ability to go everywhere at once. Snake Plisskin is engaged to rescue him (giving the title "Escape from Ego, the Living Planet"), and he brings together a team consisting of Jack O'Neill (as a tactical advisor, as well as for his knowledge of how to use a Stargate to get back to Earth), Jack Burton (whose truck is converted into a high-speed spaceworthy rig for the mission), and Dexter Riley (because of his uncanny knack for obtaining superhuman powers). You probably already have this year's Christmas cover set, Ross, but maybe that can be next year's.

Harvey is ON THE CLOCK!! He might put a DENT in Tracy's rep, but he did give him a 'second chance'. Then again, Tracy might turn the tables ...in a second!!

Like a movie lobby card? Warren Beatty and Gary Oldman?

DickTracy actually has his own version of Two-Face called Haf-N-Haf. He first appeared on 1966.

I'd like to see Dick Tracy team up with Dr. Occult, Inspector Gadget, Agent Tom of T.H.U.M.B. and Inch High, Private Eye, in "Charge Of The Trench Coat Brigade."

I have always wondered if that is what directly inspired Two face's creation to begin with.

Another great "street level" confrontation Ross! With comics' history, it makes sense that these worlds "echo" each other. My question is, are they in the Bat-verse or in Dick Tracy's world? Perhaps they've both become trapped in a Primal Gothic Film Noir World.

So, they're most likely going to encounter a Bat-Maxx?

@Anon1119: please, no, Ross forbid!
