Superman (formerly Superman: Legacy) has officially begun filming. It will be interesting to see how the Man of Steel's status as Earth's premiere hero will be presented, given that it doesn't look like he will have been the first costumed crimefighter in operation, never mind having a previous career as Superboy. This seems like a passion project for Director and Writer James Gunn, so I will remain cautiously optimistic about how it all turns out.

Hmmm! Sounds like a very loose adaptation of "Superman: The Nail." Dare I hope that, if so, we'll finally see a freckle-faced, red-headed Jimmy Olsen?
I think we've got a better chance of seeing a live-action Teen Titans flick. With Mal Duncan, instead of Vic Stone, as Cyborg!
In other words, no chance at all? :-(
Great Artist line-up, Neal Adams, Gene Colan, Mike Espisito and Carmine Infantino. You couldn't ask for a greater combination of artist or combination of heroes from the late 60's!
I think it was the Crimson Avenger who got a vision of the future showing Superman at work, inspiring the Avenger to continue in his work. A circle of care. Clark might be the first super powered being, but if Samson ever met Sherlock Homes, it would be an interesting take on the "World's Finest".
Neal Adams really liked drawing Superboy (and of course Superman). This was such a sad issue in Adventure, but a plus for the soon to be entrance of Dave Cockrum in Action! As always, I love your cover idea and work. Awesome as usual, Ross!
I love it that these are the Silver Age GotG from the early 31st century. Great synchronicity! Especially if Superboy were headed for a pre-Crisi LSH meeting, only to get waylaid by some elaborate scheme of the Badoon.
All I'm saying is, if the movie is now simply called "Superman" (similar to Superman: the Movie from 1978), then it's got some BIG shoes to fill. I prefer a title to set it apart from that one, it's just too legendary, kind of like retiring a jersey number. I'm actually very optimistic about this movie, but I'm not THAT optimistic. I'd love to be wrong, though, Superman is my favorite!
I like Det. Tobor's idea of pairing Samson and Holmes in a old-time version of the World's Finest--though unless you're going to use time travel, Heracles (Hercules) might be a better choice than Samson, being half-divine and thus, possibly, immortal.
Of course, Hercules also died, but in the old cartoon from the 1960s (?), Zeus sent him back to Earth to continue his heroic career, so Ross could use that explanation to put Herc in Victorian London.
Samson & Holmes versus Jack The Ripper and Annihilus, please
How about a TV show featuring an android double of Sherlock Holmes solving mysteries with the help of John Lennon's widow?
"Holmes & Yoko!"
Iei, Anonymou-san! Iei!! :-O
A:8-56 that's YoYos at sunset. Anyone know where sunset is in Outer Space?
