Incredible work on this run! Did Black Lightning ever team with Luke Cage?
Yes, Twice.
BL's bio-electricity against Annihilus's cosmic control rod?!
Oh yeah! I'm definitely tuning in tomorrow for part 3. :-)
Loving this team-up
I have a feeling that handling Annihilus isn't quite the reason that Mar-Vell chose to bring Mr. Pierce along.
I also have a feeling that the story on the inside was written by the late Stan "the Man" Lee, what with the "vile villainy" line. He did love his alliterative phrases, after all.
Give the man a nite lite. A bug zapper. Effective. Underused character like Lightning isn't needed much with Thor or Storm. Maybe Torch? All the universe is staged.
Black Lightning has such a great post-career career. He's got more work here than he got with Dc of comics. Funny that Marvel would need such help in the field. Speaking of field work, how would Dr Pierce do with a MASH up of Grey Gargoyle and Sandman?
or, as they say....Volt's up, Doc?
@Bob Greenwade: Or, even more puzzlingly, that could be the _very_ reason Mar-Vell wanted him.
