I went to see The Flash and while it's not a bad movie, I can understand why it is not performing well. I have never liked Ezra Miller in the role of Barry Allen and that was before the bizarre crime spree. Having two versions here (while done quite effectively with special effects) didn't help things. I mainly went to see Michael Keaton as Batman again and his parts were definitely the highlight of the movie fore me. Sasha Calle was fine as an alternate Supergirl I guess, but all she was given to do was pout and punch so she didn't leave much of an impression. The CGI definitely looked unfinished in many parts. I didn't mind it so much in the Speed Force scenes, but the CGI babies in the opening rescue scene were so fake looking it eliminated any sense of peril. Yes, there are some fun cameos - though they could have been removed and the movie would not have really been affected. I did laugh out loud at the very final moment of the film, I couldn't believe they went there. It's worth a watch on streaming - although I'll probably start it at the halfway mark for future viewings.

Flash, Batman, and Supergirl, together, sound like a lineup from DC's own version of STF.
Re: Ezra Miller. Yeah, I have to agree. Ezra Miller was barely credible as a thirty-ish adult. And just barely tolerable as an 18 year-kid! Maybe if the producers had gone with the guy from the CW show (Justin Gustin or whatever his name was), and just superimposed Miller's face... You know; the same method that was used for the accidentally-seen stunt double of Lexie in the original "Jurassic Park" film?
My impression was right, then: The Flash is a passable film. If I ever subscribe to Max, I'll probably watch it just to see how it is, and to catch those cameos you speak of.
I think they might've benefited from something I recommended soon after Ezra's meltdown: hiring Barry Keoghan to replace him, reshooting all of the title character's scenes. Barry looks like Ezra, is almost exactly the same age, and the move wouldn't have cost (ahem) all the money in the world.
Just a suggestion - maybe next time you team these two up, have an all Ross Andru cover. After all, he was the late 60's Flash artist and the mud 70's Spider-man artist.

Thanks to the different people who want to be heard so much on youtube, I've had a chance to experience a good part of the movie from home.
Can somebody please explain to "experts" at companies, like Discovery, just because you're taking over doesn't mean you can automatically do the job better. Consider N. Cage as Superman going against a giant spider. You C A N leave the bat credit card home.
i would think Peter and Barry would get along pretty well since they are so involved with their sciences. Oh..., and Flint with box feets?? no thanks.
Personally, I think that Rick Cosnett (Eddie Thawne on the CW Flash series) would be a better Barry Allen than any of the actors who have played the role so far. He looks like the Barry of the comics, and he projects the right personality (when he isn't acting villainous).

Actually, I had no objections with the uncredited Bat-cameo and Nicholas Cage fighting a giant spider. The latter could have been the brood mother for the Vegan Spider Guild! An organization of extra-terrestrial villains who are long overdue in a movie about the Kryptonian.*
*It would be a refreshing change-of-pace from incessantly recycled Zod and Luthor, at any rate.
As for the rest of the movie? I loved the photograph of Sarah Lawn as "The Wonder Woman of Magic"! It makes me "wonder" if we'll see her in a live-action Zatanna movie? If not in the title role, then perhaps as Circe of Aeaea (vs. Zee and Gal Gadot-as-Diana).
I'd rather see her (Ms. Lawn) as Positive and Negative Allura.
You know, in a cinematic telling of "Zatanna's Quest." Perhaps even as a build-up to the next Justice League movie and Zee's induction therein to (top hat, tux, fishnets and all)!
