Batman & Deadman Vs. The U-Foes

I was playing an old PS3 Hulk video game (based on the Ed Norton movie)and was pleasantly surprised to find out that I got to battle the U-Foes in one level.  It made me more convinced than ever that these guys would be awesome to see brought to life in the movies, they looked great in action.

You could always go out and find a big green goliath to possess and bring him back here.

He can't possess them because they are also (un)dead.

No matter how it looks, Batman will keep them off guard as he works on his problem that he has tried to anticipate. Knowing the JLA's villains, he'll have some things already worked out. Great escape room type cover.

A-ha! Now we know the reason Deadman was helping the FF, seventy-six issues back. Great idea for a prequel, Ross! :-)

I'm mostly unfamiliar with the U-Foes outside of their appearances on this blog, but I do think they'd be interesting to bring around in live action. Just the visuals on Vapor would be a challenge, and a thrill to see, especially if it looks like the artwork here.

The real question is, where would they show up? A future season of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law? A Phase Six or Seven team-up movie like The Marvels? A Fantastic Four sequel? Avengers: The Kang Dynasty?

@Bob Greenwade: the U-foes started out as FF wanna-be's. They became super-villains, instead. Their first two appearances being against the Hulk, in the last five or so years before the reversion to his much less child-like gray phase. Aka "The Mr. Fixit Era."

More precisely; they debuted in INCREDIBLE HULK #254, copyright 1980. They returned in a story arc that ran through #277 (from which Ross captured much of today's imagery). Joe Fixit, of course, didn't debut till I.H. #347, eight years later.

How about a meeting between the U-Foes and tha Cyborg Superman, as the latter also had a similar origin to the FF (although the other 3 members of his crew ended up dying, one way or another, due to their powers...)? Apparently there was even a published inter-company crossover during which he encountered the FF and, learning about their origin, was struck by the contrast...

Ah, yes! The now-classic, post-Access one-shot from April 1999. Cover art by Alex Ross plus one.

Yes, Deadman might possess Jade Jaws, or the Big Grey Machine, Joe Fixit, or depending what universe hes in, Dr Strange or Dr Fate, Superman, or a GL, or at least ask for their help.

This is a great story, which would be a great comic story, thanks ROSS
