Wolverine and Jonah Hex

So much is being made of Wolverine starring in Deadpool 3, and likely returning again for Avengers: Secret Wars that it seems like it may be a good long time before a new version is presented for the MCU.  I wouldn't expect any casting announcements soon, even if other mutants start to be introduced.  I really hope they pick a short actor to play Logan when they get around to it, though.  Hugh Jackman is great in the role, but a tall Wolverine always seemed slightly off to me.

Could the Time Trapper being attempting to prevent Jonah Hex's brief sojourn to the far future? If so, why Wolverine? Why not a 21-century hit man like Bullseye; or some ninja of the Hand?

As for Hugh Jackman's tenure as Logan; I never had any problems with him being over 5 ft/11 inches tall. Considering that, in the comics, Puck of Alpha Flight made Wolverine look like an NBA player by comparison!

The Time Trapper is really Josh Brolin as Cable. He's sending Hugh Jackman Wolverine back in time to stop Josh Brolin from playing Jonah Hex.

Or it's Diane Lane as Martha Kent sending Wolverine back to make sure Brolin, as Hex, never domestically abuses her pre-incarnation.

How about a Ravager (female Titan) X-23 team-up??

Or, failing that, Jamie Madrox and Duela Dent?

So far, the only actor I've seen fancast for the new Wolverine who's less than six feet in height is Daniel Radcliffe, whose 5'4" is pretty close to exactly what Wolvie's supposed to be in the comics (5'5" IIRC).

It's nice to see the Time Trapper in person here, since most of the time when he's featured here he's off-panel (with one exception). I figure he's been the one responsible for various heroes and villains finding themselves in the wrong time period; I mean, it's only a matter of time* before he has Captain Caveman joining the Legion of Super-Heroes.

*Pun not intended, but appreciated.

Talk about "bad" casting; how about this unlikely pairing for STF #4050 (so Ross can have enough time to prepare, accordingly)? Gizmo the Mogwai as a GL-in-training...and Gnort Gneesmacher as his trainer.

You need to do a team up with Mr Dithers and Lightning Lad? And another with Knothead and Hop Harrigan?

I would also love to see Mr Dithers! I'm surprised he's never appeared here!

Time Trapper is probably hovering to check some other elements he has going on to make sure no glitches.
Ross, if skin color is unimportant to casting, what do you think is? Height? Gender? Acting ability? (ok..., maybe.)

I've been waiting on Mr Dithers to show up here for years! I am an old school Dithershead! It's about time he makes an appearance here!

How about Mr. Dithers and Hiram Lodge as semi-willing pawns of a mind-controlling super-villain hoping to get the drop on both Super Dagwood and Pureheart the Powerful?

A Horrible Bosses team consisting of Mr. Dithers, J. Jonah Jameson and Mr. Slate from the Flintstones.

Again (preferably) as mind-controlled pawns out to get, in this case, Spidey, Super Dagwood, and Capt. CAAAAAAAVE MAAAAAAAAAN!

If G'Nort is to be the trainer for a new GL, I think I'd rather the student be Jar-Jar Binks.
