After reports of his terrible accident came in, I figured Jeremy Renner 's time as Hawkeye was sadly over. Footage from a recent interview shows that while he still has a long road to recovery ahead, he had made significant progress. It looks like he is taking part in rigorous physical therapy to get back up on his feet again. Let's hope for his sake he makes a full recovery, and maybe for the fans' sake we'll see him join The Avengers for at least one more adventure.

I hope so, too, Ross. Otherwise, they'll have to get another actor for Yelena to attempt misguided revenge against in BLACK WIDOW 2.
I wonder if Metamorpho is able to duplicate adamantium?
Could Metamorpho duplicate Kryptonite? Good question.
Jeremy has been more impressive than Hawkeye. One question i hated was the reporter asking him if he remembers the pain!! Why? If he doesn't, should he??
Io really like this pairing.
Amen to that, Ross. Even though Kate Bishop has basically taken over the mantle of Hawkeye, I'd like to see Clint Barton make a comeback in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and/or Avengers: Secret Wars. The latter might leave him with a debilitating injury (or -- I hope not -- kill him off), but at least that way we'd get a proper sendoff.
@Anon@7:26: I'm pretty sure Yelena has given up that revenge thing. We'll likely find out in next year's Thunderbolts.
@Tobor: I don't know Diane's reasoning behind the question, but I do know that his answer will speak to people who have had similarly debilitating accidents, just as much as his work to recover will.
Metamorpho can only duplicate substances that are found in the human body or combine them to create compounds.
@Bigby: Correction - he can only create substances using elements found in the human body. That's an important distinction; he once turned himself into a caustic lye to neutralize a lake of acid that his friends were about to be dropped into.
Of course, that still rules out both kryptonite and adamantium, since those involve elements that aren't found in the human body, even in trace amounts.
Ah! But, if he knew what the exact formula was, for adamantium, he probably _could_ use the trace elements in his mutated body to simulate the stuff.
He should be able to... he duplicated Kryptonite once
Well, there you go! Happy Easter, everyone. :-)
