Firestorm and The Micronauts

I'm not sure why more heroes did not opt to have loose baggy sleeves on their costumes.  They look to be a lot more comfortable than the traditional skin tight fare.  Firestorm has one of the best looks in comics, and the sleeves are a big part of that for me.

This is only Part One of a Two Part Epic - make sure you come back tomorrow for the thrilling conclusion!

Two of my absolute favorite properties together?!?! This brings me so much joy! And combining Pat Broderick art works wonderfully! Can’t wait for part 2!! Another great job, Ross!

Please, don't tell me it's Cyborg, again. Can't you cut the poor brother a break?!

Two of my cosplays are Doctor Mid-Nite, which includes a compression shirt, and Amphibian, which involves Spandex. I can tell you that spandex sleeves are quite comfortable, and I personally would prefer it over puffy sleeves -- not just because of autistic sensory issues, but because the skintight sleeves don't get caught on things so easily.

@Anon@8:31: Nah. My first guess would be Red Tornado.

PS @Ross: How about teaming Ironheart with the Natasha Irons version of Steel? It wouldn't even need to be a Dominique Thorne/Taylor Buck photo cover.

For a photo-capture cover, I'd love to see Pom Klementieff and Carl Lumbly as Mantis and M.A.N.T.I.S.

It would be funny if it were the Atom or GL. Just the idea of the nanites being able to infiltrate the devices could mean awareness of new technologies and new possible dangers. Nice one, Ross.

Hey, Ross. The Micronauts got me to wondering... have you done a cover of just miniature heroes & villains?

Neat set up! Will it be Captain Britain? Iron Man? Fin Fang Foom? Anyway, baggy sleeves were usually the dress code for sidekicks. That way the reader always knew who had the bigger biceps. (Some insecurity on the lead hero's part I imagine.) And back in shop class, long loose shirt sleaves were a hazard since they can get caught in machinery. And just having your hair on fire all the time has to be a nuisance. It would be something to see Firestorm take on Molecule Man, or the Shaper of Worlds.

I'm confused. Is Firestorm a giant in this or has the Hall Of Justice been shrunk in size?

This! I think he must be sitting out a distance from the Hall of Justice as we see it’s lettering and from dialogue. But the forced perspective is kinda wacky.

@Ken R. -- I remember a scene in an early issue of Firestorm when a bystander asked him if it hurt to have his hair on fire, and he replied that it's only an illusion.

@Bob Buethe: Shades of Michael Jackson! I never thought of it like that before. Good catch. :-)
