Ah, Paste-Pot Pete, always trying to be taken seriously. Even a name change and costume upgrade weren't enough to get him out of the C-List of villains. Will this latest scheme catapult him to infamy? I doubt it, but that's part of his charm.

You couldn't have depicted him trying to entrap Bugs Bunny for some Easter eggs? JK!
Happy Easter, Ross. :-)
Much as I'm intrigued by the inclusion of Pete, like Careycomic I to was "hopping" to see some type of super-bunny "eggs-travaganza".
In the Amalgam Universe he was matched with another "C lister", Matter-Eater Lad to become "Paste Eater Pete".
@Emsley Wyatt: As a certain artificial Chinese intelligence once said: "Fuee!"
P.S.---Not the pun, of course! Just the mental image generated by it.
Have a Happy Easter! :-)
In the fan-made New Amalgam Comics project, these were the combos:
-Trapster + Gizmo= Ambush
-Matter-Eater Lad + Rocket Raccoon= Omnivore
In the future: Paste-Pot Pete (under his original name) versus Porcupine Pete (from the Legion of Substitute Heroes)!
Still, like Cary, I was kind of hoping for something leporine and/or oviparous, like Usagi Yojimbo vs. Egg Fu. Maybe next year, at least in the build-up to Easter, we can get the long-"hopped"-for all-rabbit hero team.
Why wait a year?
You mean, all our "hops" for such a thing will be realized more "rabbit-ly" than originally anticipated? ;-)
I'm almost afraid to ask Did you hide any easter eggs in this?
Paste-pot looks frightful.
Moving paste that can control its stickiness...he'd probably make more with that than anything else he might make.
If you do another Rabbit Squad, I'd like to see Oswald in there. Imagine the words Bugs would say about Mickey's older brother.
(Not like Disney is doing much with him anyways)
@my namesake: I believe the other Walter had him Lantzed. ;-D
"Why wait a year?" Well, I think it's been pretty close to that already....
@Bob & Ross: given that we're halfway through the year towards next Halloween, how about...Jason Voorhees & Michael Myers vs. John Wick!
I only ask because a recent movie reviewer said JW has achieved a higher body count than those supernatural serial killers put together.
@Anon@9:37: I'd rather see Freddy Krueger vs. Ambush Bug.
How about Freddy vs. Wolverine?
Freddy/Logan is already on the blog.
Yeah, but that was four years ago. They're overdue for a rematch!
