Tigra and Cat-Man (Part 4 of 7)

As we pass the midway point in our week-ling tale, we see that Cat-Man is seeking revenge against Tigra for busting up his crime wave.  Let's hope Uncle Ted has arrived in time.  it's hard to see any reconciliation happening now - make sure you tune in tomorrow to see where this story goes next!

Regular STF visitors know that Tigra is Wildcat's niece, as outlined in STF #2551.  They first shared a cover on STF #1265...

Cat-Man calling Tigra a traitor is like the pot calling the kettle grimy. Hypocritical, to say the least!

On the upside? Ted and Greer evidently reached a compromise in the Not-so-great Debate from STF @2551. She amputated her tail; he let her keep the bikini.

No Catwoman, huh? I guess she's still on that joint mission with Mockingbird (see STF #3652).

Ah, well! There are still three parts to go. Maybe I'll get lucky.

P.S.--re: my 3rd comment from yesterday. How about introducing the Sons of the Tiger through a team-up with Richard Dragon? I like a little "kung fu fighting'" as much as the next guy...who's a Carl Douglas fan.

This is going great. Hope she teams with Bat-Cow soon. Why? It'll cement her relationship with the cat-tlemen association. Hope no one has a beef with that.

@Cary: In the comics, Catwoman historically has some bad feelings toward Cat-Man, as he originally was stealing her MO and framing her for his crimes.

On the other hand, I imagine those two could set aside their differences and recruit Cheetah to start a feline-themed criminal gang. All that's needed for Ross to do it would be to find a few non-DC characters; I suppose Black Cat can be a start.* I'd suggest General Parvo from Road Rovers, but I know Ross has never seen that show, and he'd be insisting on running the show anyway.

*Felicia did, after all, briefly team up with Catwoman way back in a #423-#424 two-parter... almost nine years ago.

@Bob: what a great idea! That way, they could become the arch-enemies of Cat Precinct (from STF #836).

Mr. Greenwade? You're a genius. :-)

I wonder if Thomas "Puma" Fireheart will be making any guest appearances?

Or the 'King of the Cats' ?

Well, it is the Year of the Tiger!

Wildcat - Ross pointed out often that he liked the re-invention of Wildcat as someone who trained other heroes.

I fully agree! But I never liked the casting they did in the shows, b/c I feel there is one actor who is absolutely PERFECT for such a part...

Austin St. John!

There, I finally got a chance to put that out there. I hope to lobby for Austin to be Wildcat for some years!

@Bob: maybe the feline themed criminal gang could end up being investigated and pursued by the Fish Police!

Above anon, in that case maybe we'll see Mr. Tawny Tawny sometime.

Mild correction, my namesake. That's Mr. Talky Tawny! Feline friend of the Golden Age Capt. Marvel.

@Bobbo: The Fish Police would be more fitting as a team-up with Aquaman. Like, say, rescuing him from the sea monkey aquarium in Billy's Room (way back in STF #792)?

@Cary: I'd buy that issue in a "New Yawk" minute!
