I'm all for comic book action and angst, but a good story also has to include some mysteries to be solved. That's why it was so nice to see The Batman featuring so much detective work and also one of the reasons I've always liked Ralph Dibny. His back-up stories always had him solving crime-related conundrums and were a joy to read. I highly recommend picking up a copy of Showcase Presents: The Elongated Man if you can still find it in print.

Ralph? Fun detective work at its best. If Ted Kord can be back again, so should Ralph (and Sue).
Wouldn't it be great seeing Ralph lend his skill to the Scooby-Doo gang on one of their mysteries?
Wouldn't it be disgusting to Jean Grey if she read Ralph's mind and learned that he _loved_ this kind of treatment?
@Tobor: The "Marvelettes" may be too close in concept to the Captains Marvel, which has Mary, Monica, and Carol, though I do acknowledge that this is somewhat different and would have some appeal. Even so, having Mary join Carol, Monica, and Kamala for an adventure some time around the release of The Marvels and/or Shazam!: Fury of the Gods would be fun.
@Unknown: That's a team-up that DC/WB should consider actually doing, whether Ross takes it up or not. It's even make a decent photo cover.
@Cary: That's even worse than the thought that Ralph might have kept gravitating toward Jean's window.
Might be a bit funnier if John Belushi on a ladder was in the background, but I love the concept of Jean Gray twisting up a stretch character. Great idea!
Clever pairing of images here to produce an ingenious story idea - which would no doubt be full of lots of twists and turns (not all of them Ralph's).

But, I seriously think this crossover could work as a real-world publication.

Given that Jean is wearing her Silver Age outfit, I thought the ancient Egypt connection would be more fitting via Ahmet Abdol, rather than En Sabah Nur.
Hmm... The elastic heroes at DC seemed to get more than their fair share of humiliation. But it's a good thing Marvel Girl didn't run into Plastic Man!

I miss Ralph on The Flash. Yes, the actor screwed up his past, but in this series the idea is that people can earn a second chance. Did H. S. ever misbehave while he was on set or since he got the gig? If not, then why couldn't he earn a second chance?

@Tobor: My thoughts exactly. I don't get firing someone for "insensitive tweets" made years before even starting the job, and now repudiated by the man himself.
