Nightwing Vs. Electro

It was cool to see Jamie Foxx get another chance to play Electro, especially with the redesign that he was given.  The nerdy, obsessed with Spider-Man version from his original appearance was a little too close to the Jim Carrey Riddler origin from Batman Forever for my taste.  Even better than the attitude change was the updated look that he received.  I loved how the energy crackling around him would form the classic star-shaped helmet when he let loose with his powers - a great way to get that tough to pull off design in there.

@Carycomic: Ouch! You _did not_ just say that. :-(

I agree with everything you said about Jamie Foxx's Electro, Ross (except that I don't recall similarities to Jim Carrey's Riddler, but I'll take your word for that). Also, Max's story arc in that movie wasn't really fully resolved; if Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man gets a revisit, it might be interesting if Max turned out to be his "man in the chair."

@Anon@10:13: He did. #GoodPunHaveACookie It's similar to my struggles with weight loss: A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

CBR said Electro is one of five Spider-Man villians Nightwing could not beat.

But, as I said in my (much-too-hastily written) original comment; Max Dillon doesn't know about the Electrocutioner. Or the time when the Teen Titans went up against the Olympians of the Roman Pantheon during the "War of the Gods" story arc.

In short? Nightwing has some familiarity with having lightning bolts thrown at him. So, with a little advance research on Dillon's past crimes (as Batman, himself, taught him to do), I'm sure Electro would wind up getting grounded by Grayson. But, good!
