One of the reasons that the stars of Hanna-Barbera's World of Super-Adventure have a special place for me is from my memories of seeing the cartoon when I was very young. I would get up early before everyone in my house to watch the show. It was a brief time to myself, as I was the second youngest of seven kids - usually everything I did at home was in the midst of a crowd, certainly in the TV room. By the time Bugs Bunny & Friends came on, I'd be joined by my siblings, but the early morning shows were mine to watch in privacy.

I know the feeling, Ross. From 7th-12th grade, I got up an hour early on Saturday mornings to do my paper route. Just so I could watch the cartoon shows from first sign-on to after-lunch sign-off!
After that, I headed for my hometown monoplex for the newest released movie.*
Re: the titular question? I'm guessing Batman hopes to use the time-travel properties of the magic rings to change his own tragic history. I mean; if they could transport Chuck and Nancy from a storm-lashed island off the coast of Maine, circa 1966, to the Near East of Legendary Times, then they could/should certainly allow Batman to go back to a certain dark night in Gotham City and prevent a certain mugging-gone-wrong, roughly thirty years earlier!
*I didn't watch college football on TV...till I got into college.
Ho-ho-ho-ho-ho! This is great young master!
Yes, nothing could beat the CBS "Cartooniverse" in the 60's. Maybe Bruce Wayne's father had something to do with the magic rings being hidden in the U.S.?
But how will the Batjet operate in that universe? I've got a feeling the Batman would run into similar problems that Space Ghost had years ago, as far as science-based powers malfunctioning.
Of course, Batman's grit, intelligence and basic skills as a fighter might leave Shazzan just standing around. Unless Raʼs al Ghul is there.
Trade off Phantom Stranger for Shazzan and you might have a revised version of Death of a Legend. Batman goes to a parallel Earth and prevents a historical repeat. But... their young Bruce goes into Bat training anyway, not from anger but from gratitude.
(Biggest potential problem - Bruce might not plan for enough inconsistencies this way)
Hey Flash actor got in trouble in Hawaii. Ok, now what?
I also enjoyed Hanna-Barbera's World Of Super Adventure. It was more superhero shows for me and I had my favorites. Shame so many of those characters are lost to time...or it would be a shame if it wasn't for how old properties are treated by new creators.
I have to agree with Mr. Tronix. Cartoon Network was originally created, by Ted Turner, to showcase classic cartoon series like those of H-B. And, when he sold out to public pressure to create original cartoons for that network, he spun-off with Boomerang for the same intended purpose. Just showcase the vintage stuff!
But, again, he sold out. :-(
Ach, I didn't read the title carefully. My bad. But the Bruce Wayne/Batman we know must realize wishing for another world where his parents survived would throw the rest of the multiverses into chaos.
Sounds like "It's a Wonderful Life" stood on its head. Here, anything could happen. Maybe Batman gets the magic rings to become Shazzan's new master?(and he'll send Chuck and Nancy home.)
Or else, that "Batman" is an imposter. Maybe it's Hugo Strange, out to steal the rings!
@Ken: I'll go you one better. Catwoman has somehow wound up in Princess Jasmine's body (and vice-versa) whereby she tricks the Blue Genie into doing the same thing to Batman and Aladdin! Aladdin's body-with-Batman's mind is then shrunk to the size of a mouse and put in a cage guarded by Rajah the Tiger (who's just as much under Catwoman's influence as any modern feline would be). So Aladdin's mind-in-Batman's body must seek out another genie's help to rectify matters.

Well, Anon, you've left me in the dust. 'Nuff said!
