It sounds like Marvel may finally be preparing a Nova movie. The studio has reserved a few release dates for untitled movies a few years down the road and there is a lot of speculation that Nova will be joining the likes of Blade and The Fantastic Four in taking up one of those slots. Let's hope we get some concrete confirmation soon, along with hints as to what direction the movie will go in.

Really nice to see Dillin's work again, he was of my fave artists growing up. (Lost in nostalgia now. Thanks.)
Dick Dillin is totally underrated - his work, especially when inked by Joe Giella, could be magnificent.
I'll worry about the movies when they start showing official trailers for them. As for today's cover? Intriguing! Why would Dr. Fate be casting a time-delay spell? And why is it only lasting an hour? Did he use Rex Tyler's old hourglass?
I'll bet that it has something to do with Nova's old sparring partner, the Sphinx.
There are some clear reports of some kind of Nova project going on at Marvel Studios, with Richard Ryder as the lead character. It could be a Disney+ series, which I don't think would be an awful thing, though like most folks I'd prefer a theatrical movie. I just hope that somehow John C. Reilly (as Rhomann Dey) gets at least a cameo.
@Cary: I got the impression that Dr. Fate's spell was for time travel, particularly given the story's title.
@Ross: Here's a thought -- Bulletman vs. the Punisher. Title: "Number One with a Bullet!"
Carycomic- My reading is that Dr fate's spell is a time travel spell, allowing Bulletman and Bulletgirl to travel from their own Golden Age time period to Nova's time (which could be anywhere from 1976 to the present, I guess). Presumably, the two bullets have some sort of task they need to accomplish before the spell wears off and they return to the past. At least, that's how I read it.

I can almost see a team of high flying speedsters forming. Besides Bulletman and Bulletgirl, and Nova, I'm thinking the Rocketeer and Comet(s) joining them. Comet(s) from Marvel's Champions of Xander and the Crusaders version. I know there's gotta be more out there.
I didn;t appreciate Dillin at the time, but I do now. I remember how shocked I was when he died mid-story after JLA # 183. His obituary was in 184 or 185.
I remember that too, Harry. The first celebrity death to affect me (well, he was a celebrity to me).

@Cary and Ross: I'll say that the Sphinx has somehow gotten his hands on Ibis the Invincible's ibistick, and is in danger of subverting it to his control using the Kaa-stone!
Btw: I just heard the news about Ezra Miller! If he gets fired from the DCEU film franchise, maybe Grant Gustin could replace him during the hiatus between Seasons 8 and 9.
@Anon@3:23: I'm not holding my breath for WB to fire Ezra Miller. Even if that happens, bringing in Grant Gustin to play Ezra's Flash would be too confusing; I'd rather they used Barry Keoghan (who at least looks like Ezra, and is almost exactly the same age).
I just wanted to jump on and say that I also remember how shocked I was when I read about Dick Dillin's death in that JLA letters page. And it was my first "celebrity" death as well.

As DC ever canonically established whether or not Bulletgirl is related to Superman's foster father?
